We have done most of the rooms and they are pretty fun! Lots of different puzzles and mind benders. The 90's room is really cool for us adults that want a blast from the past, our kids enjoyed it too. Some game masters are better than others which can make a room more enjoyable. The hardest one in my opinion is the wizard one. There was a lot to it to get through in an hour but if you have a bigger group it might help. Ascension was really unique and had a lot of different kinds of puzzles compared to most escape rooms that we really liked to experience. Location: conveniently inside the oak wood mall. read more

We were pleasantly surprised at how much fun this was. We did the Jurassic Park themed room as a birthday activity; our group included 3 adults and 3 teens. It seemed like a good group size for the room. I suspect a group of 10+ would feel a little crowded with "too many cooks stirring the pot" but with an organized group it could work. I won't reveal any of the solutions here, but the room was covered with themed items and clues - definitely no skimping. This one started in the dark - an added challenge but gave an extra element of fun. We made it 50 minutes in before taking a clue. Ultimately we did solve the code with help - and with a happy cheer from our group. Our guide's name was Tanner and we thought he was helpful and courteous. The puzzles are hard, but not impossible. The element that makes it tricky to complete is the 60 minute clock on the wall and the pressure of beating the clock! We would do Tactical Escapes again. By the time we hit the stairs out, we were already planning our next visit. One note: the office is a little tricky to find; they did send instructions on the reservation confirmation, and they were adequate directions. However, allow 5 extra minutes on your first visit to give you time to figure out which building and which office. read more

We did the Throne room over Christmas break. It me, my mom, my husband and my 3 kids- 21,19 and 14. We were with another group of simililar ages. This was fun for grandparents thru teens. It was very challenging and the older teens did MUCH better than us older adults but because it's so interactive we had a blast. Our "guide" was great too and was happy to take our picture on the throne after we escaped. Highly recommend as a great family day! read more
