We love the Tacovore atmosphere. The agua fresca is always fresh and delicious and we've tried most of the tacos and love them. The corn tortillas are soft and strong and tasty. We also love that everything is gluten free so we can rest assured that my daughter can safely eat there. read more

Got a little excited (and hungry) before realizing I ate one of the tacos I meant to take a picture of. Whoops! Always a great atmosphere here. Logan behind the bar is consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. Bryn and Syd are just as welcoming and always make the experience enjoyable. It's just a great staff overall! I honestly don't know how this place is under 4 stars. Tacos aren't the best I've ever had, but still have plenty of flavor... the drinks make up for it tenfold-recommend the spicy marg! For what it's worth, take a minute to actually read the one-star reviews before letting them influence your decision. Sometimes they say more about the reviewer than the restaurant. Great food, great service, and a place we'll continue coming back to. read more

Terrible Terrible Terrible!! This is the 1st bad review I've ever written on Yelp. The waiter is rude, the manager is disrespectful, and the food is bad. Plenty of better Mexican restaurants in the area. Los mayas food cart is a great alternative! I'd give this place zero stars if I could! read more

I've warmed up to the place as I now appreciate the excellent neighborhood vibe. Sure, their tacos aren't up to par with the many excellent "authentic" Mexican options around town, but they self proclaim their offerings are fusion, so there's no misrepresentation. I loved the (albeit pricey) Mezcal Mule cocktail. And kudos for participating in Portland Taco Week 2026. The Carnitas Cherry Bomb was quite good. Great spot and family friendly. read more

So good! Everything was delicious. Tacos are definitely big so come with an appetite so you can try a few! Also the queso was sooo yummy I could've eaten the whole appetizer myself. Extra bonus - theres a little ice cream shop / stand inside of the restaurant for dessert after :) read more

Overall I like Tacovore. Is it traditional? No. But they have nice flavors and a menu that almost anyone can find something to love. Service is friendly/no frills. Margaritas are great but a bit pricey read more

A good local neighborhood taco spot. Mainly Americanized tacos...but very tasty and good. Had a variety, fish, cauliflower, veggie special and carnivore special tacos. And enjoyed their ceviche...a bit dry/over processed. Overall good with great atmosphere. read more

First time visiting Tacovore and I love the atmosphere! It wasn't overly crowded on a Sunday night. Had the Taquitos (comes with black beans, green rice, salsa and guacamole on the plate) and a lovely Mexican lager. The food was delicious. Portion sizes were ok. I would say the price could be a little more reasonable for what you get. Chips, salsa and guacamole were $11 and the size was small! This is my friend's favorite place, so I'll definitely be back. read more

I hate to leave a negative review, but this is the most bland "mexican" food I've ever had. It's a super cute place, but this is the epitome of a whitewashed restaurant. Absolutely no flavor and all tacos were covered in their idea of crema. Please find a more authentic spot. read more

Good ambiance. I like that they have a few TV's, a bar and a variety of seating options. Tacos were great. Good size and tasty. I had the Carne Asada and the Crispy Calamari (which I ended up getting two of because the first was so good). Prices are on the higher side ($5-6.50 a taco) but at least they're not street size. Probably would give them a 5 star if the per taco price wasn't quite as high as it is. read more

Before the bad, I'll share the good. There are two female staff member that work here that have great customer service. Now the bad! This place sucks. Staff in picture were very rude and treated my friends like criminals when ordering a 2nd shot. They made up fake rules and then claimed that the group was too intoxicated after one drink and one shot. There are many better places in PDX if you're looking for good food and drinks. Wouldn't recommend this place if it was the last option on earth. read more

Came in on a Wednesday night around 6pm. The place was hopping. Order at the counter type of thing and bus your own table. Tacos were priced a little high. My gripe is actually with customers who give shitty ass reviews. "Tacos aren't authentic" Okay first of all reading is fundamental. They never said their tacos were authentic. They have cauliflower tacos on the menu and tacos priced at over $6. If you want authentic tacos, you go to a taco truck where you can get them for about $2 each. (Which by the way I love those too) But you're coming here because it's gluten free and also because damn their inauthentic rice tastes amazing. I got three tacos and a cup of their chicken tortilla soup with a side of rice. When I come back I'm gonna skip the tacos and get a bowl of the soup and the side of rice. Yes, I also didn't care for the non authentic tacos but no I'm not going to give them a shitty review because of it. They never said they were authentic. Now if they said here's tacos and was served a cheeseburger, then maybe I'd complain. I'm coming back here. Oo also the drinks were delicious. read more

Came 2 nights in a row because I was really pleased the first night. Came back the second night at last call and was told I could only order to go, which I did. When my food came, there were still at least 5 tables dining, socializing, and drinking, so I asked if I could eat my food inside since there were people still seated and enjoying the ambiance. They told me I wasn't able to eat inside and needed to take my food elsewhere. I went and sat at the tables outside in the cold of night and rain, and watched as all the others still seated enjoyed their food and beverages inside. Sometimes it's the little things that matter, especially to a return customer. Hopefully someone From the management team reads this and makes some corrections, or addresses this with the staff. This score isn't based off the food, it was based off of a customer service experience. read more

It was my first time trying Tacovore. The passion fruit margarita was delicious! I would definitely get cocktails here again and re-order the cauliflower taco. I wasn't a fan of the smoky tofu because of the smokiness but I think that's an individual preference. I like how you can get your sauces in the fridge. And the food was prepared quickly. I thought that the chips and guacamole were pricey due to the small portion of guacamole from the appetizer. The guacamole was also too citrusy for my individual preference. read more

Yay for 100% GF places! It's not unusual for tacos to be GF, but as someone with celiac, it's nice to not worry about any cross-contact Yeah these tacos are probably for a whiter crowd, but as a white person lol, I liked them, and appreciated having four different options as a vegetarian, and yummy-sounding ones at that. Somewhat unusual in my experience I do wish the card fee had been more obviously communicated. It's fair to charge it! I just would have used cash if I had known I'd be paying more Even though it seemed kinda busy, staff was friendly and food came out quickly read more

Nice enough place, but possibly the most Caucasian tacos I've ever had outside of 'taco night' at the senior's center. I plucked a piece of carne asada out of my taco, chewy as heck, and it seemed to have barely been salted, let alone spiced in any other way. Then there's the price tag. Two tacos and a Mexican Coke for $18. Good god, people. Can it really continue on like this? It's a peasant lunch (which we love) but treated like some big luxury. I recommend skipping this one. Unless what I've described is your jam. read more

Delicious. I loved it. Chicken tacos were outstanding. Sitting outside on a warm day - chef's kiss.

Would you wait 25 minutes just to place your order on a weekday? I wasn't sure while I waited, but after eating I'd say yes. Next time I would probably just place an order to go ahead of time. This place was recommended by me to a friend. Lots of inside and outside seating. Absolutely packed for a weekday dinner. They seem to be a bit under staffed for the volume. The margarita was great and the tacos were loaded and delicious. I also got the side of vegetables which were different and a nice touch. I tried the specials (fish and carnivore) and both were tasty but a bit spicy for what I would usually get. I also got the chicken and it was perfect! read more

First the smoked tofu taco was pretty good I must say, you can smell the smoker approaching the restaurant. The two stars is due to the service or lack of. It is a more casual restaurant which I sometimes appreciate because the prices are mostly fair. However, I ordered one taco. I was given a number and I sat down, it wasn't very busy. I sat fairly close to the front counter where orders are taken. I went to the bathroom immediately after ordering and after placing my number on the table. I came back to sit down and start working on my tablet. I sat for quite a while and began to wonder why I had not received my order. It dawned on me that my number was gone. I went to the front and asked about my order and was informed that my order was given to someone else because my number was given to another table. I thought that was weird, what was more strange was they immediately knew that I did not receive the taco. They were so nonchalant about it and had a oh, well type of attitude. read more

I don't understand any of the hype on this place. Tacos are super greasy and fall apart. We also got out kid the kids quesadilla - it's not a quesadilla it's an open face greasy cheese mess....no way any kid can eat without half the cheese falling out on to their shirt. The service is also not great - I was alone with two toddlers and I asked the server if she could bring over some hot sauce from the hot sauce, fridge on the other side of the restaurant and she just pointed to the fridge and said you can get it yourself... I tried to point to the kids that i couldn't leave them alone and she just looked at me like I was I crazy. The only plus is order at the counter and the food comes out quick. read more

Tacovore seems to be a neighborhood staple in Beaumont and it's easy to see why. Staff are friendly, indoor and outdoor seating is super cozy, and drinks are great. Their taco ideology could be described as "Maximalist" which I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of (e.g., pineapple, guac, pork, onions, herbs, and other items stuffed into a small corn tortilla), but one upside is the joyful feeling you get as your taco spews various ingredients out the backside as you eat it. It's giving you a second helping whether you like it or not. The chips were also amazing, and were fried (cooked?) to take on a 3D shape with a thin air pocket inside. I've never eaten chips so booshie. There may be a better taco joint in Portland, but there's definitely not a better taco joint in Fremont. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town. read more

We drove by and saw a big line going out of the restaurant and knew we had to stop and try it. We were not disappointed. We started with the Carnivore Special made with beef brisket for $6.50. It was good, with a diverse selection of ingredients and sauces. All of our tacos were very unique; not standard taco truck offerings. Our favorite was the carnitas taco with mango chunks and jalapeno peppers ($4.50). The carne asada taco ($5), which came with guacamole, was good too. We also liked the blackened fish taco ($5) which had a good sized piece of fish. All tacos were made with corn tortillas that tasted freshly home made. We found Tacovore to be a very pleasant dining experience with creatively done tacos that are different than what you normally find at taco places. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and the food was served quickly. There are so many great places to eat in Portland. We love finding small restaurants like this one serving up creative, high quality food. read more

I went to a retirement party there last Friday and here's why I'll never go back: The afternoon started out well. We had tables reserved and everyone was in good spirits. We got there around 2:30PM so it wasn't a late-night affair. An hour or so in, they started asking everyone who ordered a drink how they were getting home - seemingly very concerned that anyone might be driving. Which is fine, it was still really early and no one was drunk or acting out of sorts. Here's where it gets interesting. The guest of honor, clearly the main character with her tiara and sash, was surrounded by a group of friends and colleagues when one of the wait staff pushed their way through, grabbed the remaining third of her drink, and announced loudly that she was cut off. I've been to many bars, and I've seen many people cut off. This was the rudest and most unprofessional means of doing it that I could even imagine. My friend was not inebriated, horribly embarrassed, and the rest of the group was just confused. My boyfriend approached the young lady afterward to ask what had happened, and she stated that the fella at the counter (someone of authority I assume) had told her he was no longer comfortable serving her. When that happens, stop serving someone. There's absolutely no reason to make a scene and confiscate the last bit of a drink that's already been paid for. Even more so considering this was still early afternoon, no one was drunk, and nothing untoward had happened. I left shortly after but found out the following Monday that they then cut the party off from food too. FOOD. It's very clear that they just wanted us to leave. I can't stress enough how sober everyone was and if drunk driving was a real concern for the staff they wouldn't stop feeding people. So I'll never go back. They clearly didn't want our business then so I'll happily oblige and spend my money elsewhere going forward. Aside from that experience, my review is that their tacos are mediocre and not of good value for the dollar. read more

My wife and I drove by this place a few days ago and I loved the name and was swayed by their pictures on Instagram and reviews on Yelp to try it out. Very spacious, outdoor and indoor seating. You place your order first before taking a seat. Lots of options on the menu both for meat eaters and vegetarians/vegans. I appreciated the specials on their board and also a list of mocktails. Quality of the food is spot on. We knew we were in for something good even with just the chips and guacamole, but the tacos themselves were awesome. I had a herbivore mushroom taco and a blackened salmon taco, both of which were amazing Very happy to have passed by this spot which is now our new go-to for Tacos! read more
