Pretty authentic and tasty. It's hard to find any authentic Hispanic food in Tallahassee but this comes close for Mexican tacos.

The place has an indoor bar with seating, just outside of that is some covered porch seating, and beyond that is a huge patio on artificial grass with a bunch of tables and lounge seating. The bar has a menu ful of tropical adult beverages and cuban food favs. Their food menu includes: wings, churrasco, parrilla, salads, steak, empanadas, fried queso cubes, croquetas, yuca, street corn wraps, burgers, sandwiches and plantains. I came here at night and I had to pay a $10 cover charge to get in and all I wanted to do was eat. They had a DJ pumping hits, but I did not see why a cover charge was needed. This place was empty. The bar has a lot of security floating around and I had to get patted down before I entered which I took as a sign of prior issues. The staff there was friendly. It was a nice night so I sat out on the patio. They have a full bar with an exquisite menu that includes signature cocktails, mimosa, mojitos, and daiquiris. Of course I had to try some. I had the Son of a Biche and a Miami Mojito. They were bot great and I would definitely recommend them. The menu is full of tasty fufu drinks though and you probably could not go wrong. I ordered the churrasco with chimichurri sauce. I got a side of fries, fried yuca and sweet plantains. It took about 15 minutes for me to get my food. I really liked the steak it was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The plantains were not the best that I have had, but they were good. Fries are fries. It is hard to mess them up. The yuca was good. I do not normally eat yuka, but I ate all of those. This spot is very colorful and bright and has a lot stuff going on. Probably a bit too much for me. It was like a club like atmosphere, but with a few people. I would probably recommend coming to this place for lunch unless you are into the club vibe.

A restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived. We went inside, but let the server know we were gonna sit outside. Several minutes passed and menus were delivered. It took several more minutes for the server to return and take our order. I have to say the food is worth the price of admission! We ordered enough options so that we could take home leftovers for the next day's lunch. We ordered the chorizo tacos, served, and softshell flour tortillas. They must've been baked slightly because they had a little bit of structure to them. There is ample chorizo in each taco. Delicious! We also ordered an arepa, empanadas, tostones, and yuca fries. Everything was delicious, plated individually, and tasted wonderful. My question the reason we don't visit this restaurant more often. We were glad to visit and we plan to return!

(Deslice había abajo para español) Unfortunately, this…read morerestaurant was a big disappointment. The food is extremely overpriced for both the quality and the portion sizes. The tostones were not fresh and were obviously previously frozen. The rice was overcooked, and the chicharrones were overcooked to the point of being almost burned, with a rancid flavor that has nothing to do with authentic Colombian chicharrón. Additionally, the chicharrón pieces were neither large nor wide, as traditional Colombian chicharrón should be. The chorizo in the bandeja paisa tasted like a strange mix between Colombian and Mexican chorizo, which simply does not belong in a traditional bandeja paisa. Honestly, it felt more like a "bandeja paisa junior." The egg was fried without asking for cooking preference, which was disappointing. The grilled chicken with onions was not grilled at all--it was a very thin chicken breast cooked on a flat top with excessive oil. The beans had excellent flavor, but they were served cold, which is unacceptable. The empanadas were delicious, but again, way overpriced. Overall, the prices are unjustifiably high for what you get. I do not recommend this place, and I definitely will not be returning.

We ordered the guacamole dip thinking it was the one on the menu, for $4.99, but it ended up being the $8.99 bowl that we could not find on the extensive menu. I had Ñoquis Gratinados with steak. it was good, the steak was okay, but would have preferred all the cuts of meat be the same size, and bite sized. Spouse had the Churrasco a lo Pobre, a taco, and a tamale. The taco was good. The tamale, although large in size did not have much pork in it. The meat on the churrasco a lo pobre plate was really tough, unless you really like to chew, and chew, and chew, think twice about ordering the churrasco a lo pobre plate. If you do order it, bring your dental floss. Although we spoke to the waiter about the tough meat, and the waiter admitted he tried cutting the meat and it was tough. After that, there was no attempt to replace the meat with a more tender piece nor was my spouse asked if he wanted to try a different dish. When paying for the meal, there was no discount offered for the tough meat on the plate. The eggs on the plate were also kind of over cooked and brown and crispy around the edges. Customer service is lacking. Unfortunately for the restaurant, we will not be patrons.
