This truck and trailer replaced one of my favorites so I've been in a pseudo silent boycott until tonight. My son ate here with a couple of his friends a while back and said it was pretty good. So I caved...
We went basic. Three asada tacos and three pollo tacos. They were served pretty standard. Two corn tortillas topped with meat, radish, onion, and cilantro. With a red (mild) and green (hot) hot sauce and lime wedges.
For it being right at around 430 pm on a Thursday the wait was a little longer than I expected, but they give you a buzzer and you can enjoy the AC in your car.
The steak tacos were really good. The chicken...it was okay.
I was surprised to see an assortment of hamburgers and other items I don't normally associate with a taco truck on the menu...
With all transparency... Not my favorite truck, but its not bad. It's just around the corner from my place which is a plus. And my son likes it... So I guess I'll find myself back there soon enough. Maybe one of the other menu items will knock my socks off.
No birria and that's been the fix I crave lately.
