I've been to Baci next door several times and never realized this restaurant was where it was! There is a free smallish parking lot in front as the lot is shared with the other stores in the strip mall that it's located in. I arrived around 12:45pm and was lucky enough to find ONE spot remaining. When I left around 2:45pm, there were a lot more available spots. Upon entering, I just sat where my friend was sitting. It looks like you can pick anywhere to sit and eventually someone will come over to take your order. All the wait staff were very nice and patient with us, as I was indecisive with what I wanted to order; everything looked so good! To order, there was a QR code on the table that you can scan and then browse the menu on your phone. A bit random but I really appreciated the bag hooks that were on the side of the table! I ended up ordering a Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla and my friend ordered a Regular Margarita and a Carne Asada Burrito. We were both very happy with our choices! Flavorful and fresh, my quesadilla was the perfect size and my friends burrito was pretty filling that she had to pack the rest to go. There is also a clean and spacious bathroom in the back if needed. Credit cards are accepted and they can split the bill if needed. We will be returning!

First off the cashier/chef is extremely rude, which is ironic because the store was completely empty of customers. I can deal with rudeness but the food was just absolutely horrendous. Taco shells were ice cold and breaking apart and the chicken used is boiled chicken that tastes like tires and the beef tasted like rubber bands. When the food arrived at my table, it wasn't even hot. I thought it was in the twilight zone waiting for someone to teleport me back to earth it was so bad. It's laughable that you can mess up something so simple as a burrito and taco, then the rudeness for no reason. Like I said this has to be a drug front because it makes absolutely no sense

I'm a very indecisive person, and he was incredibly patient, attentive, and knowledgeable while helping me decide what to order. I had no idea Tacombi offered fish and shrimp tacos, I thought the menu was mostly beef, chicken, and pork. Rene recommended the fried fish tacos, and they were absolutely incredible. Honestly, they were some of the best tacos I've had in New York, and that's coming from someone who lives in NYC! Such a pleasant surprise. Rene also recommended our drinks, and everything was spot on. The esquites were delicious, and the bartender Bryan even came to our table to explain what a michelada was, which added a really nice personal touch to the experience. The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. Everyone made us feel genuinely taken care of, and it created such a fun atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend Tacombi to anyone looking for amazing tacos and outstanding service. Thank you, Rene, for making our visit so memorable. we'll definitely be back!

I was headed to another Mexican restaurant But the brightly colored windows which were painted for thanksgiving made me decide to stop. Inside it. My granddaughter and I were the only customers. I pick up a menu on the way to sitting down. There was an oil smell which made me think their tank was just filled and maybe had a leak. I sat for a few minutes and was just about to leave when someone came to take my order. We shared chicken enchiladas with rice, beans, and a small salad. It was actually decent until I bit into a chicken bone. This is a complete turn off for me. And it's unfortunate because the enchiladas had good flavor. Nothing unusual about the rice and beans. I asked for water to drink. In my world that means a glass of ice water. Instead I got a bottle from Costco. Would I go back? Probably not. There are too many Mexican restaurants in the area who's food I like better.

As you can see I'm first to find this place... and didn't hesitate to be the only Griingo in a true blue.. well you get the point.. this is an authentic Mexican place! Yes, when I walked in the staff were dining at a table and no one was @ the counter. Yes the girl finished her food a bit before getting up to help me.. in fact they all looked at me like they assumed I would likely leave.. why would I?.. and no she didn't wash hands before serving me. Did I leave.. Heck no. This made it more authentic, real deal Mexican, not all Yelpwashed. lol So I ordered a few things but stayed simple. Tacos, burrittos etc. Nothing stood out as all too different. Nothing seemed fake. It was just good. Would I come back? Well, If I was passing through, and craved a taco maybe. Maybe I would. No slack on the alcohol either! We were welcomed with nachos and salsa and might I add they both tasted fresh! Alba, the owner, served us and she was very sweet since the beginning. The only thing is the place was empty when we got there and empty when we left, and this was a Friday night! I would expect a little more foot traffic on a weeknight. Ambiance was okay. The place looks a little bit run down with the decor however does look clean nonetheless. Also we walked into an empty restaurant basically, no one at the front to greet us and seat us for at least 5-10 minutes, and it wasn't busy at all. There was no bell to let anyone know we were there waiting either. Now for the food: Entrees: -Carne Asada: (steak with rice and refried beans accompanied with a salad and tortillas) I thought the rice and beans were very flavorful. The steak was decently marinated, however too thick and too much. I bit into the first piece as is and it was a lot for me and my jaw to munch on. I then proceeded to cut my steak into thin slices throughout the meal. Also, i never thought I'd be saying there was too much steak but there really was. Again, steak was subpar and hard to chew (thick and not as tender) And I ordered medium rare and received a medium steak at most. I couldn't finish 1 piece and still had 2 1/2 left. The salad was a nice companion and the tortillas I honestly didn't touch because it seemed a little bit overwhelming with the rice and beans. -Birria taco: my friend ate it but it did look a bit greasy. She did end up leaving some of it and it was all she had ordered the night for food. Drinks: -Mango Margarita w/ tajin rim: this was DELICIOUS! very well made and I'd definitely come back for a margarita night -Horchata: my friend ordered the horchata and it was really good so she said! I'd probably come back here for the service, a margarita and maybe to try something different- but I wouldn't be back for the carne asada again.
