I work fairly close to where Chubby's is located, so I knew about it right after it opened up…read more Chubby's is a food truck, so don't go there expecting some huge menu. They service breakfast and lunch, though in my opinion their breakfast is the best way to go. I get a breakfast burrito from there once a week (eggs, cheese, hash browns, ham, sausage, salsa, and gravy in a 14" tortilla. It's bigger than my head!). My dad is a big fan of the hash browns with gravy. I haven't personally tried the burgers, but many of my coworkers have, and they all rave about them. (I've tried one or two items from the lunch menu, but nothing really stuck out to me.) The guys who work here are all super nice. They also deliver! (Not sure how far they'll go, though. Like I said, I work nearby; I'm about a 1 minute drive away.) All in all, I'm rooting for this place to do well! (And word to the wise, this place is CASH ONLY.)

(Take highway 20 from I 5 towards Clearlake). They had such a great selection of fruits and vegetables at a reasonable price! Plus different flavors of pistachios.They also sell honey and even pies! Love that they also have olive oil and sauces! They have cold drinks in the frig and ice cream too. It is well organized and VERY clean inside ( air conditioning as well). It is cutely decorated and I bought some really fresh veggies! The 2 young ladies at the cash register who very friendly and helpful! I will be back very soon to get some more delicious fruits and veggies! Awesome experience and worth a few miles out!

We always enjoy the stone fruits, different varieties of watermelon, corn, etc. However since it has transitioned to The Harvest Bend, the soul of the place isn't quite there any more. No longer are we greeted by familiar faces stocking peppers and tomatoes in the outside bins, rather those bins are generally empty and unwelcoming... the watermelons and corn that were always stocked in the entrance have been empty or sold out some days, as the volume of stock was seemingly not ready to out out (leaving gaps in availability that were not there before)... the prices seem to have gone up and additions of overpriced pies, popcorn, and soaps from outside the immediate area make it seem more like a new generation boutique rather than a reliable family farm stand. Most recently, at the farm stand we were buying about 10 pounds of stone fruit, assorted veggies, 24 ears of corn and 4 yellow watermelons. And as we have always done in the past, we simply informed the team member at the counter that we would also be grabbing four watermelons on our way out, as our hands were full with the rest of the produce. She informed us she couldn't ring them up until we brought them in because different sizes were different prices, despite their own signage saying they were one flat price ($7 per yellow watermelon) - almost as if we were going to steal them - because when we came back in (after holding up the line to quickly grab them), they were in fact all the same price after all (no difference based on size - just a flat price). I don't know, but this place has lost its soul, is overpriced, and is seemingly more focused on branding, buzz, and social reach/engagement rather than what matters to its patrons.

As I was heading to Yelp's Passport in Yolo County for some wine tasting on the afternoon of 6/26/2021, I stumbled across a place that I did not expect on my adventure to no man's land. This was none other than "Tacos Jesus Maria". Located in the small community of Esparto, CA, this little taco truck is directly on Fremont St. and adjacent to Woodland Ave. (which is essentially Highway 16). The parking itself can be a true hit or miss as there is a convenient store nearby as well as other businesses within walking distance. Since I came here for one thing (which is their tacos) to get my belly filled up before wine tasting. The menu is no frills as they specialize in tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and tostadas. Since tacos are my go-to meal of choice, I ordered two of their "Carne Asada" ones. And at $2.00 each, these prices are unbeatable. Other food items that were very low in price were burritos that started at $4.00 and tostadas as just $3.25. Service was quick as my tacos were ready in less than 5 minutes; even with a long line. Overall, this is what a taco should taste and look like; two corn tortillas, a side of radishes, jalapeños, lime wedge, and salsa roja. The flavor itself is out of bounds amazing and a great little pit stop if you're passing through town or heading to nearby Cache Creek Indian Reservation. All in all, "Tacos Jesus Maria" is as good as it gets; they are open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 7:30pm and closed on Sunday. My rating, a unanimous five stars.

We were welcomed by a woman who answered all questions we had regarding the menu. Sandwiches are available in a variety of breads. They all come LOADED with meat. Everything on the sandwich includes Mayo, Mustard, tomato, onion, lettuce, jalapeños, and avocado. I could only eat 1/2. They were out of ceviche, but I hear it's amazing. For street tacos the meats you can pick from are pollo/chicken, asada/steak, carnitas/deep fried pork, spicy steak/adobada, marinated pork/al pastor, or beef head/cabeza. Lengua/tongue, veggie, or tripa/tripe are +$1, and shrimp governador street soft tacos are +$2 each. I got one asada, one cabeza, and one lengua street soft taco with everything on them, and these came with cilantro and onion in two corn tortillas. Radish slices, lime wedges, and pickled jalapeno/carrots on the side, and rojo salsa on top. They do also have lunch plates but those start at $16.
