Oredered saviche today and got only one tortilla chip for a bowl of saviche. Feel a bit scamed.

Ordered a lengua super burrito the other evening. It was pretty tasty and certainly large enough to fill me up. Yet, being a "super" burrito means it includes guac and sour cream, but mine didn't have much of either though the burrito was rather pricey. Overall, the burrito was still good enough that I will return, hopefully I'll get a little more trimmings this time. As a sidenote, the service was fast and friendly as always. I've actually eaten tacos at a taco spot on a street corner IN Guaymas, MX. They were literally the best tacos of my life. The tacos here aren't quite as delicious as those were but I do love it. I paid 25 dollars for one meal and even though it was good it was not what I asked for went to the DT and placed my order and paid got home to realize not my plate I called to inform the man and he told me no you did not come in my DT on my mother you didn't and your wrong. This place has been here for as long as I can remember. And I have always wanted to stop it, I finally did, and i'm so glad! The service at the front was quick and responsive with great recommendations, and the food came out very shortly after ordering piping hot! Spectacular flavor and very filling. The portion sizes Our large and gave me the opportunity to have a meal later! Prices for what we got were amazing considering Across the street you would pay double and get less! I love this place. I have only eaten her twice but both times the food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. I also love that they have a drive through. Their tacos al pastor are especially good and have lots of filling. The meat was flavorful and moist and they also load up the cilantro, which I like. The tortillas were really good with a perfect texture and flavor. Only thing I missed was the tacos didn't have any pieces of pineapple, but they were so good I didn't miss it that much. read more

I drive past this place daily. There are plenty of Mexican food options in the area but I'm into trying the variety. It's small and looks like a hole in the wall. It has a drive thru so o thought it was like a fast few joint with limited options. I was shocked to see a full menu of options. Both me and my wife had the burritos. They are HUGE. They were delicious as well. The cashier was funny and kind. Made us laugh the entire time there. You cannot take your beer to go but they do have the option. Taco guaymas is my go to Mexican restaurant their prices are decent and I've never got bad service. I usually order take out, I've eaten there tacos they're wet burritos and my all-time favorite carne asada plate everything is always cooked the way I like it, and at times I can be pretty picky. If you want good Mexican food at a decent price this is the place to go. read more

I've only tried tacos with tripa here, and it was delicious! We ordered through the drive-thru, and asked for it extra crispy. There was just a bit of wait for the food, but it was worth it. I used to go to the Renton location often over 10 years ago, and really liked it. Definitely will be back when craving tacos, but the other Tacoma location may be more convenient for me. read more

Was a windy chilly day and I was craving a tortilla chicken soup. The staff was friendly towards us but not so friendly with each other. The lady yelled at one of the male workers a few times, was a bit uncomfortable. The restaurant was well kept up. Unfortunately my soup was flavorless. It looked delicious but had no flavor. I had my family members taste it in case my taste buds were off but unfortunately it was definitely bland. The carne asada dish was good. I wish it was made on the grill instead of it being fried. It needed a bit more flavor but was good. The rice and beans were very good. The shrimp cocktail and chicken nuggets with fries were pretty good. Actually we couldn't stop eating the fries, my niece was not very happy with us haha. This place has great street tacos, tortilla soup, the fish platter is finger licking good. Walk in, order at the counter, then find a seat and wait for your food. They are not very fast but the food is worth it. Regardless of the day or time a soccer match will be on the TVs and the place is filled with locals. So I said the menu says $10.. then he points to a sign on the register that say carne is more expensive.. no problem I get it, inflation. I have now been to both locations and I dont know exactly which one this is, but I get the same thing each time. Green wet burrito with Pork. I love this thing. Its giant and full of flavor. We only go every once in a while but I so much prefer this over something like chipotle, but maybe not quite as much as qdobo, but with that being said I have definitely been here more than qdobo so maybe that statement is not correct... maybe I do prefer this place. Both locations are fantastic. I have little preference on which to visit. I would say the 38th ave one can be tough to get to and leave during certain times of the day, but if you plan ahead you can go with traffic and avoid a headache. read more

Used to be a favorite for lunch or pick-up dinner, but that was years ago (before COVID). Used to be consistent, reasonably priced, flavorful. Thought I'd give it another try. The good: very friendly staff, greeted warmly. Could be because the restaurant wasn't all that busy. Food served promptly. Not so good: wow, sticker shock. $16 for a burrito. Chimichanga on digital menuboard priced at $13 but I was charged $16 (realized after I got home). Other entrees higher priced. My chimichanga had a sparse amount of meat, and lots of cheese filling. Stopped in here on my way home from work today. Pulled through the drive through and ordered 1 tripas taco, 1 fish taco, and 1 regular horchata. So....... Tripas taco was way over cooked. I guess the flavor was ok, but it was like tripas jerky. Almost leathery... Not good .... Fish taco was sloppy and super plain. I almost drove back and told them "Hey! ¿Ustedes cobran extra para agregar el sabor??? (do you guys charge extra to add the flavor? )" WTF??? The fish was way over cooked also... Not good.... And .... As you can probably guess, the horchata was watered down too. Only a tiny bit good... I grew up in So-Cal ( Orange County, LA, & San Diego). 90% of my friends are Mexican. So I had been a loyal customer for a very long time. I am never going back. It wasn't the fact that they messed up my order. Which they did. For the past few months it's been terrible food quality incident after incident. I took it in stride hey it's a pandemic life is hard but today was just it for me. I ordered a cheese quesadilla with pico. So I get the quesadilla for my son who loves pico. He bites in and is like there's no pico on this I look sure as heck no pico. So I call and ask to get a replacement to which the lady responds well you already have a quesadilla I will just give you some pico and you can put it in yourself. I say isn't the pico supposed to be in the quesadilla and she replies yeah but I can't really do anything for you mistakes happen sorry.... Well with that rude and flippant response I'm done.
