Soft corn tortillas, perfectly seasoned pork, onions and cilantro. Red sauce (hot) and green sauce work well as flavor boosters. I literally inhaled 4. So I also ordered 2 American Style (hard shell, sour cream, tomato and cheese), 1 ground beef and 1 asada. They also have Horchata so sure, give me a large. I may have ordered wrong because I got soft shell. No big deal, they were still really good. Not sure which style I like better. The Horchata was perfect, almost like a dessert, satisfying that sweet tooth I get with Mexican food. Total for 6 tacos and a large horchata was about $24. Not bad today for a freshly made meal.

They do offer an Americanized version (lettuce, tomato, and sour cream) as well. The staff was so very kind, and patient as I was trying to decide what I wanted to order. I finally decided on Al Pastor and a beef tongue taco. While I have decided tongue is not for me, everything was so very good.... so very fresh. I will definitely enjoy another taco next time I am at this location.

El Tacoriendo - Columbus, OH…read more The building looks like the kind of spot you'd second-guess after dark--like pulling up to a Linden carryout when the streetlights flicker--but trust me, If you judge a taco by the tortilla (and honestly, you should), this place is worth checking out. I tried four different tacos, all excellent: * Asada - Tender and smoky, almost buttery in a warm corn tortilla that stayed together the whole time. * Suadero - Melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a gentle richness that made it feel almost luxurious compared to the usual grilled beef. Not greasy, just satisfying. * Cecina - Salty and deeply savory, the kind of flavor you keep thinking about later. * Barbacoa - Soft and shredded, perfect for soaking up lime juice. Each taco was loaded with fresh cilantro, chopped onions, grilled onions, and cucumber slices. Pricing & Portions * Tacos run about $3.50 each. * Even after skipping lunch, two were plenty to fill me up. * Extra salsas are $0.50 each, and worth it. Salsas * Green salsa: Mild, fresh, and bright. * Red salsa: A little kick without being too spicy. * Both were great together, but the meat was seasoned well enough to eat plain. Atmosphere & Service * Bright painted chairs and colorful walls give it a casual, welcoming feel. * The dining room has plenty of space between tables and a laid-back vibe. * My takeout order was packed neatly in sturdy containers and ready in about 10 minutes. * Staff were friendly and patient when I had questions about the menu. ‍ Final Take If you're tired of tacos that taste mass-produced, this spot will feel like a small revelation. After a 4/4 win, I'm already planning to come back to try some of their more unique proteins (like lengua, buche, or tripe). Consider this your sign to give them a shot. 5/5 - Come hungry, leave happy, and maybe start debating what to order next before you even get back to your car.

Regardless I would order takeout and come back to try another dish! Definitely a legit example of a hole in the wall. But good food!

She discounted the kids meal for not having French fries available one night. Then proceeds to give an extra quesadilla in the bag. Super accommodating. This is a great tasting food truck for a good price.

His tacos looked delicious, it had the onions and cilantro (which I had hoped for mine) and the corn tortillas. The queso was an incredibly small portion--like a 6oz sauce cup! Not worth it in my opinion. He loved his horchata as always. I ordered the grilled fish tacos. I was a little disappointed when they came out, they were on grilled flour tortillas, very very small portion of grilled fish, lettuce?!?!, tomatoes and a creamy green sauce. I wouldn't have it again...if I return with him I'll try the chorizo tacos.
