Go get a drink inside Now & Forever, use the restroom, and then get a savory, piping hot taquito from the food truck. Famous for their combination tacos (lubary, tony, burrito toro), it's oddish menu likely signifies the truck isn't really all that Mexican. (#3) Their regular tiny tacos are the standard $1 each, with premium meats such as barbacoa, lengua, etc. that will sell for $2.50. Cash only. Their fiery salsa verde has excellent heat. It's the ideal complement for anything they serve. I have found success in their fatty barbacoa, solid campechano, and decent fajita. I would say no to their chicharron, which reminds me of the Guatemalan taco trucks with the charred meats, and the al pastor has a little too much food color dye. Apart from the tacos, everything is a crapshoot. The tortas, machetes, and gorditas don't seem to be particularly memorable. We ordered birria tacos, a torta de pastor, a taco de pastor, tacos de fajita, and taco de tripa. The tacos were presented very nicely and came with the cilantro and onions. The yellow corn tortillas were oiled perfectly. The fajita and pastor were both seasoned well and had great flavor, but the tripa stole the show on the tacos. The tripa was crispy and flavorful and my favorite out of the 3 tacos. Next the torta de pastor was wrapped in foil and filled with lettuce, tomatoes, queso fresco, avocado, pastor, and melted cheese. The bread was toasty and the torta overall was delicious. Lastly the birria tacos. The cheese, tortillas, and birria were cooked to perfection. The cheese was melted and when you dipped it in the consume the flavors just danced on your tongue making for a flavor explosion. A few notes that all the food came with their red and green salsa.
