The food combination of goat cheese toast with strawberry and basil was really really good! I got it with a gluten free bread since I am celiac and I feel good! The smoothie was really nice, refreshing, and filling. Personally needed a bit more taste of something but honestly cannot complain, it was very good. The ambiance is home style with a bit of a natural twist. The only thing that sent me over the edge is the sound the door makes when it opens/closes. It's just startling. Overall, I liked the place. It seems just a tad bit higher prices but with this economy, so is everything. Safe to say I will be returning!

Better World is my go-to nutrition place in Lakeland! They have some really fun options for meal…read morereplacement shakes and giant energizer teas. My first time, I got the Key Lime Pie shake and they put actual graham crackers and slices of lime in it and it was so good! It really tasted like KLP in a cup, yummuyyyy. Also got one of the teas, and when I said giant I meant GIANT. Like 32oz. In my first time I got the Blue Hawaiian and it was a pineapple, blueberry and coconut-y tea full of tart flavor, with real frozen fruit inside of it, it was pretty on the outside and inside. Their teas are some of the best of any nutrition place I've tried and I come back just for those a lot and have tried almost every one on the menu, and I have not disliked a single one. They give you a pick me up through healthy caffeine and are super refreshing and tart and always have real fruit in them, they are just addicting. It takes a little while to get the drinks, but its because they put so much effort into making them, so it's worth the wait. The two women working our first time, Alaysha and Katy (Kathy?) were SO kind. We sat and talked to them for a good hour after they made the drinks, they were still learning a lot of English because they are from Puerto Rico but they were real sweethearts and I would come back just to see them again. Juan and Carla who work there a lot are also just the nicest and it makes it even more enjoyable stopping in to support and chat with them. The store is adorable too, decorated nicely and a cool place to just hang out. Definitely recommend giving these guys a try!!

They use a Kirkland's almond milk now so Iced lattes are out, when they were the draw, prior. I rank this milk with the other chemical taste almond milks--Calilfia, Barista, Pacific. YUCK. Certainly the buyers for this store don't drink it. My pumpkin butter spice latte hit the trash outside the store. They make great acai bowls, have wonderful teas, and offer some nice protein cookies. The ambiance is beach fun and it's right next door to a paint your own pottery studio. Has inside or outside seating and a friendly order taker. Parking is horrible on weekends but M-F are good. More on the noisy side-I'd not bring work there.
