The food is exceptional! Best soft shell tacos in Durant. The service is good they are efficient and they get their food out while it is still hot. Always make sure that they have condiments and utensils, napkins, in your bag for to go orders. It doesn't matter if it's a to go order or in restaurant order it's always great service. Let me start by saying that I do not personally know any of the employees at this location. My husband and myself go to this location quite a bit (We live in Denison). The following are the reasons that we are repeat customers: The food is great, the service is prompt...but the MAIN reason we go there is because EVERY...SINGLE...EMPLOYEE is amazing. They are so kind and respectful. I have watched how they treat the elderly, watched them treat each other and watched them make sure each customer is happy. This isn't just 1 employee. I miss the sweet high school/college aged girls who worked here over the summer. You were greeted with a smile you could hear while taking your order and everyone was always so pleasant. We eat here once, sometimes twice, a week and no longer receive pleasant service. The new lady's are always so rude and act like your an issue placing your order. Not sure if it's Christina or Nikolette (the skinny girl with long black hair) but she is awful and has zero training. Yelling over the speaker, interrupting rudely with WHAT, watching through the window and rolling her eyes. She then has the audacity to mean mug me while running someone's orders out to their car after mentioning her bad attitude. The bigger lady is extremely rude too. Always frowning and cramming whatever out the window into your hands. I'm shocked as they act like they have zero training when speaking and interacting with customers. I understand people can be busy, but good customer service and kindness go a long way, and these last few interactions have made me uncomfortable. read more

Older restaurant. Everything was ok. Tacos were better than the burritos. Kinda expected a little bit better food. I think the burritos already had sauce on the meat. As where the taco did not. So we have been going to the Taco Casa in Durant, Oklahoma for many years now, and it has steadily gotten worse over the years. They always get the orders wrong every time we go there anymore, and tonight my son opened his burrito to literally find 1 scoop of beans and cheese. More tortilla than anything. Their prices keep going up and the quality of their food is worse every time. If I could give them 0 stars I would. The ONLY saving grace from our meal tonight was their sweet tea. This was the nastiest, filthiest fast food restaurant I have ever been to!! We just moved to Arkansas from Texas and while traveling through we decided to get one last stop at TC in Durant since we won't have again for a long time. Worst decision EVER!!! My taco was so greasy it soaked through THREE napkins and I couldn't finish it. My bean burrito was cold and the beans tasted like powder and one bite about turned my stomach. Do NOT get me started on the bathrooms....port-a-pots are cleaner! Had we gone to restrooms and saw how disgusting they were before we ordered we would have immediately left. Then we saw the condition of the kitchen and I do not know how they have not been shut down by the health department. There needs to be an adult manager supervising these rude, nasty kids working in there!! Needless to say we will never get another craving for TC!! Seemingly a town fixture -- shelves full of Little League trophies, booths packed with locals, a line of cars snaking around the building for the drive-through -- this place was just about exactly what I expected. There's a simple, inexpensive menu of just a few items: the Super Nachos, the Chilada, the Super Taco, the Super Salad, the Super Burrito, the Taco Lite, and the Super Tostada, along with a smaller "value" menu. I went with the Super Nachos (just over $5), sans sour cream. Chips piled high with generically seasoned ground beef, finely chopped tomatoes, the bright yellow nacho cheese you get out of a can, and refried beans. I'm not saying it's horrible food (I'd say it's definitely a step above Taco Bell), but I'm not saying it's good, either. It's just about exactly what I expected. And, apparently, it's a chain, too? It looked closed as there were no cars in the front lot on Super Bowl Sunday afternoon. It was icy out, so I didn't expect a crowd. Decent tacos and burritos consistent with the quality of their DFW locations. Lots of cheese and crispy taco shells. Service was fine, with the very low hurdle of one party (me) in the store. Not so good; it was the coldest restaurant I've ever visited. Probably high 50's inside. All the staff was wearing jackets. Hmm, trying to save on electricity on a day sure to lose money? I let the kids choose where they wanted to sit and they picked a pretty badly broken booth in the corner against the kitchen and restrooms. Cold plus broken seating = minus one star. These aren't hard things to fix. Take care of them and maybe revenues will come up a bit. read more

I only eat here because it's close to the college. Lately the staff as been ridiculously rude, especially at the drive thru. Today I spilled scalding hot nacho cheese all over myself because they just slopped my burrito together. Im only giving them two stars because they have good tea. Went around a month ago. Bought dinner for a crowd...12 pack of tacos a 2 Chiladas. Was greeted at window by a hand, not a word from the girl....just a snarl and a hand. I paid and a few minutes later she returned with a bag of food shoved at me and not a word. $25.00 and not a kind or otherwise word spoken. When I got home I opened the bag to find around a cup or so of grease coming from all contents. "Crispy" tacos so overflowing with grease they were leathery, lettuce wilted and dripping, meat cold. Chiladas upside down in the bag and not closed well. Chili sauce everywhere. I've written the corporate website twice and no response. They obviously could care less. I'm out $25.00. DON'T GO THERE!!! Mayo is SO much better and they care about their quality and customer satisfaction. read more

Taco Casa is your best choice if you must eat cheap. Compared to other Hispanic food places in town- the food is lack-luster and sometimes unappetizing. I would definitely recommend trying the nachos since Taco Casa can make really delicious nacho cheese. Their sweet tea is also a must have. read more

Good - Tacos are basic and amazingly good - Super Burrito is great (Lettuce and Black olives make it delicious) - packets of hotsauce Bad - Sour Cream can be over generous - The price of Tacos has gone up greatly (used to be .29¢) I've been eating at Taco Casa on and off since the early 90's. It has never let me down, the meat, cheese, and lettuce is so basic it's perfect. And the hot sauce is a perfect addition. read more

I live in Georgia, but my family resides in the Durant area. I love the Taco Casa which is located in Durant, Ok. I wish there was a Taco Casa in the state of Georgia! It makes it very difficult to eat tacos or burritos from any other establishment! If you should go, get the Spicy Bean Burrito! It is loaded with the green chile-verde salsa. Awesome! read more
