If I could give it 1 star I would. The lady on the night shift working the window at 8:50pm today 10/29/19 is horrible. Had very bad attitude and made a big thing on giving us sauce when she literally gave us a hand full if that. She first said she can only give 2 per item then said only 1 and my mom asked for some and she's like well I can't give u no more. U only got 12 items and I can only give u that much. I stopped in Sunday around 11:30 am to get some lunch. There were no other customers other than me. I tried using the kiosk to place my order but it was slow and cumbersome,so I walked up to the counter to place my order. There were two women working there that I could see. Living in Southern, CA, it's only natural to be kind of a taco/Mexican food snob, but sometimes... we just want Taco Bell. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This was last night. I had craved Taco Bell specifically, so I went to this location near me. It's pretty new, the building looks nice, but I only went through the drive through so I can't comment on the interior of it. Everything went as expected. There were three cars ahead of me, but the line moved at a decent pace. The employee taking my order was cordial and made sure my order was correct on the screen. When I paid for my food and received it, the guy was nice and greeted me and asked if I wanted sauce etc. I checked my order and received everything I paid for. Our food was exactly what we wanted. Everything was wrapped and easily identified as they utilized the wrappers to clearly mark what was what. The food was nice and hot and like I mentioned, just what we expected/wanted... so, 3 stars from me because there was nothing to warrant a higher rating and nothing to make me give a lower one. The other day My husband and I did an online order and when I got there the drive thru was closed off with cones . I can't go inside since it's always locked so I moved the cones and drive up to the window and wait for the worker to help us. She tells us that they're closed, but we tell her we have a mobile order and she tells us to wait and she ended up telling us our food will be made. We got our food but check it and were missing something, she ended up having giving us it but the service was bad. I have been to this new location five times since it opened and each time has been a joke. Horrible customer service and orders constantly wrong. Kind of pathetic to order three items and you have something missing. Quality control is ridiculous. I love getting food items with five shreds of cheese and missing sour cream more often than not. Oh, and when I order a drink I expect it to be full and not missing 1/4 of the beverage. Perhaps management doesn't care because they think people will still go out of convenience. Guess what? The food and service is fine. We don't eat a lot of fast food, but when we're in the area, we will drive through. Every single time we do, though, the order is messed up and missing items. The last 3 times, after scolding by my wife to check the order, I've done a quick "look in the bag" and it seemed fine. I mean, why should you have to pull over and take everything out of the bag to make sure its all present and accounted for?? But these 3 times, even with the quick check, I've gotten home and its been messed up!! Every mistake has been in the $3-5 range as well.... I pulled up to the drive-thru at 11:30 pm. I waited at the speaker for about 10 minutes and tried a couple times to speak to someone with no response, so I finally pulled up to the window to see what was going on. The car in front of me pulled up to the window, stopped for a second, then drive on without taking an order, likely because they went through a similar experience. I got to the window and saw two people cleaning (it was 20 minutes before closing), gave a quick honk, and was completely ignored. Eventually I left and went to Del Taco across the street, which gave much better service. I understand if they were short-staffed, but I don't understand the lack of communication; just be adults and tell me why you're closed early. We have been coming to this Taco Bell since it opened, recently we started eating out again since this whole pandemic. I felt more comfortable knowing that business OWNERS and EMPLOYEES would be taking the proper precautions and wearing masks and gloves when preparing and serving food. Last week, I went to order some food, a large order too... I pulled up to the window and the lady at the drive through was very nice, wearing her mask. I noticed a older man (the owner I believe.. older Hispanic man) behind her making all of the food, he had his mask pulled down to his chin exposing is mouth and nose. I was completely grossed out! Not only is he NOT following the guidelines for him to remain open he also has a nasty attitude!! I told the lady that I noticed he doesn't have a mask on properly and that I'm honestly just not ok with that since he is preparing all of the food! She proceeded to tell me that he "always does that" . She closed the window and said something to him, he walks over to the window and asks "what my problem is" and I told him, we are in the middle of a pandemic, his mask is down under his chin and he is preparing food with his mouth and nose exposed. He then pulls it up to his nose and asks me "are you happy now" and walks away! Actually NO I'm not happy now, not only are you not following the guidelines, you are potentially exposing your customers to your germs and you are RUDE! I had already paid for my food before seeing him unfortunately or I wouldn't have paid at all... so I just threw it in the trash! We will NEVER return to this Taco Bell, pandemic or not! Any business owner that would be so rude and inconsiderate does not deserve our business. Hands down the worst service EVER! I drove-thru and had to wait 30 minute to get my food. When I received my food I drove out quickly as to not hold the VERY long line behind me that had been waiting. I checked my bag immediately and realized I was missing something.
