This is the first time in ages that I was impressed by the fast service, the young lady at the pick up was smiling and bubbly and the type of customer service person at the Trenton TN location I'd hire. She will never have a problem finding a front person position. I hope Taco Bell appreciates her personality. Haven't tried the food yet. I told her I was going to review her as soon as I got home. Also, reviewed her on TB Website. TB's phone number doesn't work at location, goes to non set up mailbox!
Now let's discuss the food. it definitely needs an upgrade. I got a Supreme Luxe Box to test various food preparations. I switched chicken chalupa for beef. There were big gobs of sour cream, forgot to ask to omit it, that made the wad of lettuce and few tomatoes a mushy mess, so scraped most off. Ate a few bites and tossed. The crunchy taco was again stuck to the paper and broke apart when picked up. Used the chips to scoop up the redish meat. Switched the nacho chips for guacamole and chips, guacamole was bitter, not lemon bitter, metallic bitter and a weird slimy texture with mostly tomatoes. Tossed it. The five layer burrito, ordered without sour cream, was decent but overly beans vs. meat. What in the heck are they still doing to the meat, red alien mixture instead of brown meat and an odd texture! So, if I try them again, I'll order the 5 layer burrito and pass on all the others. Glad we can now customize! Wish I had taken pics, but it's more about texture and taste. read more
