No one really seemed to want to be helpful, everyone just seemed like they had low morale, weren't very friendly. Food: 2 star. Delicious but my entire order was made/rung up incorrectly. Still delicious. But not at all what I ordered. Beefy Nacho Griller, I substituted beans for beef but then they put rice in it as well. The rice was good but that doesn't come in the item. Cool Ranch Cheesy gordita crunch, they didn't even make it cool ranch or put cool ranch on the ticket. The gordita was very thin and had a piece torn off from it. Inside of it was filled fine but they did not do well on the outside. Overall wasn't a terrible experience but they have some quality work that needs to be done. read more

I placed my order on their app to take advantage of a promotion. Filled everything out but wasn't able to submit the order. After 30 minutes trying to place my order, I just went to the restaurant. I believe the lady that was helping me was a manager but I don't know for sure because she wasn't wearing a name badge. She was having the same problems I was having. Another employee came over to help, she also was having problems. After trying & trying she was finally able to submit the order. If I could give this Taco Bell no stars I would. We've gone there three times now and this was our last shot at given them a try. Because I understand they can have a bad day. We had missing items. We had missing items and hardly any cheese in the nacho cheese cup. The food hardly had any meat on it. I'd give this place a zero if it was an option. First of all, the beef in the tacos tasted watered down and had no flavor, the crunchwrap that I ordered only had tomatoes and lettuce on it, the beefy 5 layer burrito only had a smidgen of sour cream and only had beans, no beed, no cheese. Don't get me started on how the burrito was wrapped, looked like someone's bad attempt at folding a diaper. The nachos belle grande, pretty much the same, barely any beef, almost all beans, barely any lettuce, tomatoes, or cheese and had a dollup of sour cream. This location is just plain horrible. I come to Taco Bell because I love their food & I've learned to live with poor customer service & dirty tables. Now they have signs in front of the registers instructing you to place your order at the kiosk. That's not even poor customer service it's no customer service! We ordered the party pack of taco's at drive thru and after getting them we got ready to eat one and the smell as well as old tasting shells was bad we called back and was told they would replace them with fresh ones we waited in drive thru again received replacements started down road again and the same thing was there again which was highly disappointing since we were told this time things were fresh. I ordered & paid for 11 items. Upon opening the bags at home, there were only 8. I called the manager, Heather, who told me to come back & they'd make it right. When I suggested SHE should do the traveling as it was her error, she said they weren't allowed to do that. So, let me see if I understood her correctly: it's okay for them to have made the mistake but not okay to make it right at their expense. Does that about cover it? For $3 it was hardly worth it to make the run for either the missing food or the refund. Heather told me she would give me the credit the next time I came in. As they have some new items we'd like to try, that will probably happen in the next week or so. This, then, is not an "epic failure", but just a real pain in the arse. read more

New arrival from SoCal, so I enjoy a good Mexican meal once in a while. Why am I posting on Taco Bell? Well, I've had Taco Bell tacos and beef burritos as well. In my short (one month) time that I've been in The Villages, I've gone to two (higher rated) Mexican restaurants in the area. Both times I ordered dishes with beef. My observation so far is that the ground beef used in the restaurant dishes are no better than that used by Taco Bell, kinda sloppy joe-ish. If you crave any Mexican 'beef' entrees near The Villages, save your money and eat at Taco Bell. Of course if you want service and alcohol, then spend the extra at a restaurant. I did not mention the names of the restaurants because of my limited restaurant samples. Note that my rating for Taco Bell is only average, but at least their prices reflect their quality of food. read more

Went inside to order. Waited at counter for at least 5 minutes before an employee came over. When she did finally come over, she said "what do you want?" I placed my order of 2 meals with drinks. I ask for one to be a medium. She said they only come large. So, I told her I guess I'll take large. I paid her, and she took my name, then walked towards drive thru with her hands up yelling...I can't deal with ignorance today. There was a gentleman that came in behind me, so we were both waiting on our food. When my food was ready, she dropped a bag on the counter and walked away. I asked if it was mine and she said...YUP! On my receipt the cashiers name is Shaketia at the Wedgewood Lane Taco Bell in The Villages on 7/17/23 at 11:54 am. I'm not sure if the name on the receipt is the person who so rudely took my order or not. Where is the customer service? Where is the respect you so desperately want yourself? Where is common courtesy? And someone needs to tell her that the person she called ignorant has 2 degrees and owns and operates 2 businesses while her pitiful self works at Taco Bell taking orders!!! And to top it all off.... the shells on my DLT's were stale and my second order was wrong. So maybe Shaketia should focus more on improving her own ignorance at her Taco Bell job. read more

Worst customer experience I have been subjected to in a long time. Myself along with three friends enter this Taco Bell at 9:32:37 PM on Saturday September 4, 2016 and order a lot of food (cashier Jonathan). The cashier asks for here or take out. We say for here. The food comes about 7 minutes later and we sit down ready to enjoy our meal at this Taco Bell. We are not even half done when a woman comes over to us at 10:00pm and just like this, she says to us... "The Lobby is closed, you have to leave". Mind you, we were the only four people in there and we weren't even done with our food. We had to ask for boxes to take our food with us. Now I ask, why didn't the cashier advise us that we have only to 10:00pm. I have been in other establishments when the lobby closes and they just lock the front door so no new customers can come in and they allow you to enjoy your meal and leave when you are done. Besides that, the person who told us we had to leave did it in the most rudest of ways and needs some customer friendly training. Needless to say, I could be starving to death and I would never go back to that Taco Bell again due to the way Myself and my friends were treated. I drove tp taco bell and the building was locked up due to virus. I went to drive thru and no one answered the box though I stayed for a couple of minutes. Got out and read menu board as it is too far to see from car. Still no one answered to speaker and as I am hard of hearing and as there was a sign permanently attached to the speaker saying that if I was hard of hearing to pull up to the window and place my order there. A lady at the window said that I had not placed my order at the speaker I could not place an order at the window. I explained that the sign said to pull up to the window. She became very rude and again told me I could not order at the window, that it was against store policy, and that was it! She was very rude to me and in my opinion excessively rude and wrong. She told me to leave. I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager and there was no one else to talk to. I drove around and she cae on the speaker. I read the sign to her and she said it was not true. I left. I am looking for the owner to speak to. I give this store a zero rating. read more

Also, change was tossed into the bottom of the bag where an unsealed smothered burrito leaked all over the money and our 3 napkins. I ordered sort of sloppily and wasn't exactly clear when I got up the counter (yes, I'm one of *those* people) but the cashier (Raven) helped me and was patient so that I got what I wanted.
