Very little meat. Very skinny beef supreme burrito for almost $5.
Nick R.

Food was prepared quickly. Ordered and paid for extra cheese for nachos bell grande but didnt put on. When I inquired about lack of cheese they gave me a small container with extra cheese. Also beef supreme burrito looks and taste like a bean burrito. For a beef burrito there is little meat and you can taste the beans way more. See the photos. No problems with the taco supremes. Manager on duty made another replacement burrito. This time with a bit more meat. But still taste and look nothing like the photo on the menu screen.

The young lady that helped us today at Taco Bell had us laughing. She had great customer service and also told us about the survey at the bottom of the Receipt. To tell them about the service we Received today. Thank you

It took 35 minutes for them to make a single burrito. There should not be a 30+ minute wait at a fast food restaurant.

The Wednesday Market in Soldotna - a place to gather and listen to music, see people you know, to…read morelet the kids run around play, and of course try the local food offerings. Picqued by the sight of a large grill with carne asada being kissed by flame and throwing off that familiar grilled meat that a caveman like myself appreciates, I stood in line and forked over the dough for 2 tacos. Bear in mind I am a native Californian and have interfaced with many a taco truck and the many interpretations offered, so perhaps my standards of what a taco is might be higher than most in Alaska. The tacos were presented as most tacos are presented; on a non descript paper plate with the obligatory napkin. They were dressed with a green style salsa, onions y cilantro, and nada mas. I mean, what else is needed? Grilled onions on the side, maybe some sliced avocadon top to really send it home. But alas - that wasn't offered. The tacos themselves were not something to write home about. Mediocre at best. But, if you've been in the Alaskan bush for a week without access to electricity and running water, these would probably be considered not too shabby. The grilled carne was not too sabor, the tortillas warm and limp, but at least the onions and cilantro did their part as much as they could do considering everything else. I'm willing to give them another chance but i would have to be super hungry, unwashed from living off grid, and not have to wait in line.

So, my neighbour has been nagging me for some time now to call in to "that place with the railcars"…read morejust outside of Soldotna, but I'd not yet been. Though she hadn't mentioned there was a restaurant, she raved about the coffee shop and waffles. So my friend and I were coming to Soldotna last weekend, and me, as usual, am frantically searching Yelp for something with 4/5 stars. Addie Camp came up as a contender, with a solid 4.7 stars, but I hadn't realised it was where the railroad cars are. So we decided to give it a go. What a beautiful area it is, once you get up into the parking lot! It's very neat and tidy, and all the little railroad cars surround the central parking lot. And there's really massive solar panels to the rear. I liked that. There was not a scrap of trash anywhere. Very inviting. So we head into Addie Camp, and I'm wowed. It's beautiful inside, cosy and welcoming, yet very modern. The staff are lovely. The hostess asked if we had a reservation, but as we didn't she invited us to sit at the bar. No problem! They have tables upstairs, and in a railroad car to the side. It's absolutely beautiful, and features a lot of warm wood, but not old wood, very light modern wood. I tell you, I'm in love with this place. Anyway so we sit at the bar, where Sam was mixing cocktails. Sam is very pleasing on the eye, I might add. He was using Fevertree Tonic in one of the cocktails, and I told him that Fevertree's Elderflower Tonic is one of my fave drinks ever, and he said he loved it too. Anyway, so upon perusing the menu - it's not a huge menu, but there are plenty of things I'll eat - I ordered the Gold Star Elk Burger with rosemary fries, and my friend got Gambas Al Ajillo (Spanish style wild Patagonia Shrimp in a spicy olive and herb citrus sauce served with fancy bread) and we both opted for a Train Track Tonic Mocktail, mainly because Sam the bartender told me he had elderflower syrup, and it was featured in one of the mocktails, so I was sold. The napkins are fabric, and the silverware is fancy, heavy, not your usual restaurant fare. I was quite impressed with how quickly we were served, because it was quite busy. The food itself was outstanding. The bacon jam in this burger is EPIC and it's not your usual tiny bacon crumbles, it had chunky bits of bacon, and was sweetly gooey, but savoury too, absolutely the best bacon jam I've had, and it just gave the already amazing burger a boost it didn't even really need. There's no way to eat this burger in a dainty ladylike fashion, it's a beast, and the bacon jam is messy, but I went with it, and Sam got us some extra napkins. About 3/4 of the way through, I had to go knife and fork on the burger. I wasn't leaving any of that thing. The fries were good, the burger good, the mocktail good, excellent service, very attentive. This is unquestionably THE best restaurant on the Kenai Peninsula, and I can't wait to come back with my husband, next time we're down there. And, I did see regulars come in and be treated like they were old friends. After my experience there, I can see why people would keep coming back, it's THAT good!

Compared to other Mexican restaurants you will pay quite a bit more for the same dish. For example, a seafood chimichanga at Playa Azul is under $25 but here it is $32. All of the dishes were like this which is disappointing and unfortunate. If you are in Kenai or Soldotna and want yummy Mexican cuisine this is a great spot but it will hit your wallet a lot harder than other places in town with the same fare. 4 star food but dropped to 3 for being overpriced.

Their breakfasts and dinners are HUGE, their steak is UNBELIEVABLY tender, and the prices are totally worth it-- their burritos are GIANT--really 2.5 meals. Their veggies are cut of in M-Lg chunks--al dente--so they're toothy Their rice grains are larger and fluffier yet have more flavor than anyone's I've ever tasted--and the Tortilla chips (freshly made) come warm and in a ENORMOUS paper bag! (Watch out if you want HOT salsa!! Ha-cha-Cha!) We loved it and got what we asked for! Beautiful FLAN! The most authentic--topped with light caramel syrup-- HUGE and satisfying!! Save it for breakfast--not toxically sweet--it's a dense pudding texture--authentic--a pure and simple delight! Muy bueno, Los Compadres, Muy bueno! Olé!!
