We arrived just before 11am, and the door was already opened. I ordered the molcajete trio, wifey got the shrimp and my friend ordered a caldo de pollo! Service was amazing, food was amazing. So the top picks from our dinner were..... ok, I will just say everything!!! The chicken and steak Fajita cake sizzling in the plate, the guacamole was mouth watering (just thinking about it making me want to drive back from our rented cabin for two hours just to eat there), the best fresh guacamole in a ver long time, the shrimp ceviche was on point, the chips were hot and fresh, the corn wraps were handmade and brought warm from the oven...what else, the spicy Margarita was tasty...their food rocks!!! We took the rest to our cabin and the fajita was still delicious a couple of days later. Top stars to this place!!

We had the California fries, a carne asada taco, a chicken taco and my kiddo had the ground beef taco kids meal. Everything that was got was stellar. They have a salsa bar with fresh onions, limes, pico, a few different hot sauces and some other staples. Everything tasted AMAZING - legit best Mexican food I've had in a while. The restaurant itself isn't much, it's attached to a gas station and it's not the nicest but the food was more than amazing.

I got the shrimp burrito, and the shrimp tasted fresh as if you got them at the beach. Nothing was over spiced or overdone. The staff got our food out quickly and the only ding is that when my wife was asking about one of the items' ingredients, the cashier seemed frustrated at her questions and let out an audible huff. Not enough to lose a star but enough to mention.

It's a Mexican restaurant. The menu is on the wall. It's colourful. There's fantastic murals. I looked ahead of time and the prices match. Great prices. The guy, it might be the owner. He was energetic. I ordered the El Jere burrito and my husband ordered the Torta La Cubana. The table was not cleaned. The food was huge. Usually it is and so that's good. I didn't like my husband got a side that came with his meal and I didn't. My food was a little salty. Besides that it was really good. The fries was great. His Horchata smaller, but good. A little too sweet. There is a cash and card price difference. We will definitely come back. I'm a little curious on the Mexican pizza.

When we walked inside we realized that both places were combined inside which was cool. It was very spacious with many tables and places to sit. We came on a Tuesday for lunch, it wasn't that busy. I ordered a Carne Asada plate and chose flour tortillas. It also came with a Jarritos drink too, you can choose which flavored drink you want from the fridge by the counter. My friend got a pupusa, and carne asada (beef) and chicken tacos. The carne asada was phenomenal. I was really surprised at the portion of beef that came with my plate, it was huge. Not only that, but it was flavored and seasoned so well. It was savory and tasty. The frijoles (beans) and arroz (rice) was good, and the veggies on the side tasted very fresh. I took a bite of my friend's beef taco too and it was great. Every bite from my dish was great, I loved it. The only thing was that I wish the sides were a little bigger in proportion to the carne asada. For me, the sides are just as important as the protein. So I wish they gave a little more to balance out the whole dish. Other than that, I liked what I ordered. I'd come back for the carne asada and ice cream.
