I'm having a bad week. I threw out my back and have been trying to get home for the last few days from OR to San Jose. I can't drive very far. Running low on funds. I go through drive-thru and card declined and I'm already sipping on the soda. I try to dig up some change, it's late, I'm tired, and she smiles and says don't worry about it, on us tonight. What the heck? Everyone is a jerk and uses COVID as an excuse. This lady smiles and gives me free food? It is almost against my religion to give 5 stars to a Taco Bell but these people earned everyone of those stars. We could not go through the drive thru because our RV was too tall. We went inside to order and pick up our food. A sign in the window claims that it is safe to enter and the place is completely clean. Most of the tables and chairs were stacked in a corner with one small area that I assume was used by employees on break. The floor was marked with "X's" for social distancing. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The employees wore masks and gloves. The woman behind the plexiglass protected counter was very patient as we placed our order. The food was delivered promptly and well prepared. This is the kind of environment that I have come to expect in these strange COVID-19 times. Well done Taco Bell. read more

The staff at this Taco Bell location were SUPER friendly and kind. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They even gave my three year old cinnamon twists for free just to be sweet. They checked in with us after we had our food to make sure we didn't need anything else. I just went into this Taco Bell and ordered my lunch to go, I stood at the register for about 5 minutes before anyone came to take my order and when the lady did come up to the register she was cold and practically rude. Now I completely understand being short staffed and overwhelmed but that doesn't mean that you treat your customers like they are putting you out...this location wasn't even very busy. I live in Orland and now that Taco Bell has the Mexican Pizza back I'm more likely to get lunch there every now and then but I would rather drive 20 minutes to Chico to get it then go the Orland location again and be treated that way. read more

Booo always a 30+ minute wait both inside and outside!! Always check your food cause the person that packs it and hands it out NEVER WILL!!! Always something wrong with with the order. When I called gal was very rude, I told her we were missing food and her response was oh "Just a Taco" like no big deal! I don't know that I've ever waited so long at a drive-through. From the time I placed my order until I reached the window was approximately 15 minutes. Upon reaching the window I was greeted, paid and received my soda. I received my food which was the five dollar cravings box and drove away. The food itself was well-made and warm. A couple minutes after getting back on the freeway, I still had several hours to go on my trip so I decided to eat in my car I took a sip of my soda. I had ordered a Mountain Dew so expected yellow liquid to come up the straw but saw clear liquid instead. For a brief second I thought to myself they had given me 7-Up or some other clear soda. As it turns out the syrup must have run out so all I received was basically club soda. I ask you as the person working the soda machine how do you not realize that the liquid which is supposed to be the color of a highlighter is clear. As I'm sure anyone reading this would understand I'm not too pleased with this particular Taco Bell today. read more
