The bar had a few large screen TV's with various sports on and there is a big (separate) game room area for kids to be occupied while parents can enjoy a drink. However I did find it weird that the men's bathroom has a one way mirror that overlooks the playroom while using the urinal? A few reasons I couldn't go higher than a 3 on this experience. First of all it has to do with the "quick" service. I ordered a bowl of soup, which was huge! It came out hot and pretty tasty... but my main course came out only minutes after. So I had to make a decision... power through my soup in hopes to still have hot food when I was finished. Or eat them both at the same time... I chose the latter. For my main course I had the Fish and Chips. 3 pieces of fish, two that were stuck together, served on top of a small pile of over done fries. The fish was crispy on the outside but a bit mushy in the inside. the bartender, who was very nice and friendly, was way too busy to refill my drink because she was busy making drinks for the entire restaurant. I finally stopped a waitress to get a refill. Judging by the atmosphere and the relatively good crowd, this seems to be a well liked local place. So I have to believe that I maybe my fish and chips were just a one off. I also thought that the entree was fair priced at $15, but $10 for the soup was a bit much. (And now that I look at the menu (the next day) the soup is listed at $5.99...makes me wonder why I was charged $9.99??). Maybe the $6 is for a cup? It doesn't offer a cup or a bowl on the menu, just a price of $5.99. Shame on me for not noticing and asking I guess!

The bar is toward the back so it doesn't have a total bar vibe. It was hard to pick. The vibe was nice and the waitress was attentive and patient. Hubby and I were waiting for friends and being hungry, ordered onion wings. They were good, nice and crispy and not greasy but I didn't like the whiskey flavor (I hadn't noticed it when ordering). Friends showed up and they ordered cheese curds. A huge pile of very lightly battered(?) curds and they were delicious. I had a whiskey bbq burger (I know, don't ask) and it was excellent. It came with what seemed like homemade chips that were also excellent. The burger had a WB brand on the bun = nice touch! Others had chicken tacos, gourmet grilled cheese and I can't remember what hubby had. But I do remember we all were very satisfied with our choices. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.

My friend and I went in at around 8:15 pm on Thursday, May 14. When we arrived, it was trivia…read morenight, so there were already a decent amount of people there anyways. There was no room at the bar, so we decided to stand by the bar to order drinks, then find a table to sit at. Mind you, the table we decided to sit at was dirty. We got our drinks and headed towards our dirty table (we didn't care about the cleanliness because we just wanted a few drinks). We decided to move to a table closer to the pool table so that when the pool table wasn't being used, we could go and claim it for a game. THAT TABLE WAS DIRTY TOO. This detail will make sense in a minute. It was one of the taller rounder tables we moved too, right next to the pool table. There was still a family at the table in the corner, where we wanted to eventually sit. A waitress with badly bleached hair and an even worse attitude starts coming up to us, giving us sly remarks, and acting like our presence in the bar was an inconvenience to her. The family at the table finally left, so we went to that table once it was wiped down and cleared off. That was the ONLY table we sat at that was actually clean. We move our stuff over, and we start playing pool. The waitress comes back up and tells us that every time we switch tables, she has to clean them again. Again? The tables weren't clean in the first fucking place. Then, she proceeded to tell me she would add a switch tables charge, a food charge (I had fries from Culver's in my bag that I was eating. Just tell me I can't eat it in there?), and a clean the table charge. When we decided to leave for the night, my friend and I went to pay because we had cash. The blonde waitress that desperately needs her roots done told us she would come to us to get our payment. We thought it was weird, because all the other times we've paid we could've handed it to someone at the bar and that was that. No, she brought over her handheld pos system and told me that the two amaretto sours that we ordered were going to cost $8.30. Hello? Where did that 30 cents come from? I gave her $8.35 and she told me she'd come back with change and a receipt. She did not come back. I had to go up to the bar and ask for my receipt and change, and coincidentally that nasty waitress was clocking out at the same time. I asked her, where's my receipt? And she told me I never asked for one. I didn't need to when you told me you were going to? And for my change. She proceeded to pull her wallet out and take a quarter and slam it onto the bar and stormed out of the bar. I finally got my receipt from the other lady at the bar. The receipt had an NCA charge for a CASH purchase. That's what the extra 30 cents was for. But it wasn't even 30 cents, it was 27 cents. What the fuck, wild badger? I'm never coming here again
