Cheesy Fiesta potatos

Food was subpar. Order wasn't customized to speciation. Don't plan on returning to this location. Ordered a large nacho fry, they were out said I could substitute chose cheesy fiesta potatoes the bowls weren't even full. Asked for extra onions on 2 bean burritos, didn't get any onions, not to mention all the food was cold.

Rico's Tacos - Valdosta - Question-A-.....Dilla!

Rico's Tacos - Valdosta

We overnighted in Valdosta so I began looking for where to have dinner. We had a favorite BBQ place…read morehere but they were out of most things and almost ready to close. This is good and bad-good because you're not eating yesterday's food and bad because you have to look for something else. Thanks to Yelp, Rico's Tacos was just down the street so we said, "why not". Rico's has a pretty extensive menu but we opted for tacos. There were many varieties offered and each taco could be customized by choosing the type of tortilla and whatever garnishes such as onions, tomato, peppers, cilantro etc. you wanted. We both ordered a carne asada and al Pastor tacos. Another wonderful find. these tacos were unbelievably good with great meats and flavors. We also sampled the standard and "hot" salsas preferring the hot. Service was quick and friendly. I'll also add "patient" as this was our first time and we had lots of decisions to make. Rico's is another stop to add to our driving south (and back home) list.

Delicious Carne Asada Fries! And the tacos are good too…read more I really enjoyed their Carne Asada Fries. It was a very large order of fries on a plate loaded with steak, queso, jalapeños, sour cream, and pico. It's definitely enough for 2 people to share. Delicious! I also tried a fish taco Guadalajara style. The corn tortilla was tasty and the fish was perfectly fried. The lady who took my order was super friendly and really helpful. After you order and pay at the register, they give you a buzzer. When the buzzer buzzes, your food is fresh, hot, and ready. I recommend Rico's Tacos for lunch or for a casual dinner.

I stopped by Rico's Tacos after seeing a Facebook post featuring their Birria Ramen, and I'm so…read moreglad I did! I'd never seen it prepared this way before--it sounded like a fun twist, and it definitely delivered on flavor. The ramen was rich and savory, with tender meat, cheese, onions, and cilantro. A squeeze of lime really brought everything together. I also loved adding their green salsa--it's fresh and flavorful without overpowering the dish. (The red salsa was a bit too spicy for me and took away from the overall flavor.) The restaurant itself is located in what looks like a repurposed old service station in downtown Adel, which gives it a lot of charm. There's a spacious outdoor area, indoor seating, and even a small playground for kids--definitely a nice spot for families or casual outings. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is mainly due to portion balance. There could've been more Birria meat in the ramen--the ratio of meat to noodles felt off. I also ended up picking out quite a few fatty pieces. Additionally, I was a little disappointed to see a charge for chips and salsa, since that's typically complimentary at most Mexican restaurants. That said, I'd still recommend Rico's Tacos if you're curious about Birria Ramen or looking for a laid-back spot with good food and a varied menu. Next time, I might ask for a side of diced tomatoes--I think that would take the ramen to the next level!

Have my meal was missing. They don't answer the phone. Can't leave a message. Reply to a text? No!…read more Contacted my credit card. Small town. Not many food choices, yet you are just like every other apathetic ---- in Adel. Now I know why your place has no business ever. At least at Xmas the decorations make it look like you got customers.
