This is the first CONTACTLESS Taco Bell I have experienced. It was great. The experience was fast, smooth and easy. This location is newer, smaller and busy. I decided to come inside to order since the line for the drive-thru was only getting longer. The kiosks are easy to use, except the kiosk I used was time delayed and I didn't see a button to add a cup of water. In the end, I had to bother the staff for a cup of water. All they need is a phone number and a name for your order. As soon as it is ready they call your name out. All sauces, condiments, and utensils are setup in stations. They have a variety of drinks, including water. My food was made to order, hot and fresh, and all of the cheese was inside the tacos! This location has plenty of parking since their actual building is small.

    Expect a line.

Mobile order not working at this location. I have been here a couple of times, and always clear and good service. Unfortunately, I believe they are understaffed like everyone else. There is always a line almost out to the road. So far so good, just need more employees to get it moving like a normal Taco Bell. Employee stated they were open until 2 but mobile app cuts off at 10 PM for online ordering.

I've gone multiple times during the day and the service and food is terrible. No customer service and my order is always wrong.

Seems like doors are always locked at lunch. Just need to shut this place down if your not going to open.

I don't know where to begin with this review, but here it goes…read more.. Our visit to Taxco yesterday evening was so disappointing :( It was Cinco de Mayo, and it's worth noting we've celebrated there on this holiday in previous years. Also worth noting that we have loved the food here and this review is strictly about CUSTOMER SERVICE! Our wait to get a table wasn't long. We were seated at a table in the corner on the outdoor patio after 10 minutes. It took about 10-15 minutes for a staff member to recognize us seated there, and he brought over some chips and salsa. Then we waited another 10-15 minutes to get some waters, which we had to ask another staff member for. Then after another 10-15 minutes we had to stop and ask again if anyone was going to take our order, they said someone will be with us shortly. After waiting another 10-15 minutes we stopped another staff member and asked if they could take our drink and food order because we've been waiting for a while, so they did. While waiting for another 30 minutes, we saw other customers who got waited on promptly after being seated after us, and who ended up getting their orders (bar drinks & food) before us. When there was still no food or drinks at our table after this 1-2 hour ordeal, we decided to leave. We walked up to the front to tell the hostess, and also asked for a manager to tell them about our situation...and that's when everything went downhill for us. The manager was VERY RUDE when talking with her and kept using a busy 'holiday' as an excuse. We explained we were one of their weekly and long time customers. The guy who runs the bar practically knows my name and I don't even have to say anything when I pick up orders because he recognizes me immediately. He even recognizes my voice when I call in an order, and notices when I haven't been at the restaurant for more than a week. Anyway, we calmly told the manager about our experience seeing others get waited on promptly...they were picking and choosing who to serve. She didn't care at all about what we felt or had to say. We mentioned at the end of the convo that they lost a long life customer for the way she was responding to our concerns, and her response was "GOOD LUCK!" We loved Taxco because it was our local Mexican restaurant in Mint Hill. The food was great. We've supported them for over 8 years, through the pandemic, and definitely have spent A LOT of our money there. I've featured them on my foodie page numerous times and have recommended them to SO MANY people in the Charlotte area! It is so sad to see service like this in our area, poor restaurant management, and zero loyalty to a customer base. Unfortunately, our relationship with Taxco has come to an end now. Good Luck!

So, we ordered one of each (easily split btw 3-4 ppl) and LOVED it!! My fav taco is the street corn taco with shrimp . Delicious sweet and savory. Our service was great the first night, but the second night it was a miss. They eventually advised us that they were in training at the moment. So, that's understandable and answered our questions and concerns. Overall, as long as they keep it very clean and food tastey, we will be back to this restaurant regularly.

Apart from that she was friendly and helpful. We ordered the shrimp fajita and bc my daughter loves shrimp I asked if was spicy and even the queso they only have the one w jalapenos which I love but my daughter couldn't enjoy as much bc it became too Spicy for her. The horchata was too sweet - according to my 7 year old who loves sweets, I also tried and compared to our local taco place it was very sweet, she didn't event drink it and ordered water. I had the skinny margaritas which also not my favorite the alcohol portion was on point very nice and you could taste it which I appreciate it since I was cold outside, but the flavor was missing. Overall the food is good the prices and service are all very good. Ambience is traditional Mexican skeletons decor like dis de los muertos everyday. If you haven't been here it's worth the trip to try Mexican style and imaginative American menu.

They had fútbol games playing on the TVs, which added to the vibe and made it a great casual lunch spot. The tacos here are noticeably bigger than your typical street tacos, and most plates come with a full serving of rice and beans plus a little side of guac and salad, so you're definitely getting a full meal. Everything tasted fresh, but the standout for me was the tortillas. They're clearly made fresh and have that soft, slightly chewy texture you want. You can even buy them by the pound, which is a huge plus. Tried the birria taco, which is actually more of a quesabirria. It was massive and packed with flavor, though a bit heavy on the cheese for my taste. Still very solid overall, just something to keep in mind depending on your preference. Prices are a little higher than you might expect for this type of spot, but the portion sizes help justify it. Service was fast and everyone was very friendly. Just note that English is somewhat limited, but it didn't cause any major issues. Overall, a really good option if you're looking for filling, well-executed Mexican food with great tortillas.
