I know it's Taco Bell but genuinely comical how many people were working behind the counter but not capable of helping me. I made the mistake of optioning to order with a human instead of a machine. I asked for and ordered extra sauce with the one employee who came up to the counter and took my order. The second mistake was trusting them to have the amount of extra sauce I paid for in the bag. I didn't even have the correct amount of sauce for my cantina order (1 per order) or the extra sauce I paid for. When I went in to ask for at least the base level of sauces I was informed by the employee that no mistake was made and she had assured me the correct amount was put in the bag. Not only is the customer service horrendous, but the integrity of people behind the counter is unbelievable. We stopped here after church got a grilled cheese burrito and a quesadilla, as we are eating we realize a spit like substance around the burrito almost like flem. As we inspect it more there is this yellow/green like coloring to it. We wanted to inform them of this and called them and asked for a manager we were being civil and just need them to know this information. As we do so the girl across the phone goes that couldn't be our doing your making this up for free things, "you put it there" in a very violent and aggravated tone. We never stated we wanted to be reimbursed or get any item for free, we needed them to be aware of this situation and hoping they would be understanding about it. Went here for a bit of brunch before gaming, and was pleasantly surprised by the service. They were courteous and fast, getting my food to me very quickly. The food was quite good, and I had no problems with them. Surfaces were clean and kept that way. This was a store that seems to take pride in what they do. I mean, this is Taco Bell. You know what to expect out of them, so the items you look for are the conditions of the store, the quality of the construction of the food, etc. and not at the recipe, since that is the same across the country. Went here for lunch today thinking it was going to be a fast trip through the drive-through. Boy was I wrong! Good thing I don't have to clock in and out for a lunch break or I would have been late getting back to work. I had to wait in line for about 15-20 minute (could have been longer) just to place my order with two cars in front of me. When it was my turn to order it took another 10 minutes before I could even place my order. The women told me that it would be a long wait as there was only 3 people working. Smh. At this point there was no where I could go because I had two cars in front of me and a car behind me so I was stuck. We go here about every other week and the food is Taco Bell quality and is very reasonably priced. Why the low star rating? We typically go through the drive-thru and in the past the service is fast and everything is great. But on our last couple visits, there has been one car at the pickup window, but from the order board back there's 3-5 cars waiting to place an order!! I think the employees must be rated by how fast they put people through the drive-thru, because when you finally get to the window after placing your order the person at the window snatches your payment from your fingers and starts cranking drinks into your car as fast as they can. We visited this location after a Christmas party around 12 pm. We were informed after ordering that they were out of chicken. We had ordered multiple items with chicken we asked if they were able to substitute those items for another meat. They told us they could not do that with out charging us an additional fee. Of course this is completely ridiculous because we wanted chicken and it is not our fault that they are out of chicken. Then they proceed to be rude to me and my husband and insist that they are not going to compensate for their errors. They then will not even repeat our order or give us a total. We waited in line over 35 minutes for all of our food to be wrong and ultimately not what we asked for. This food was probably the worst Taco Bell I have ever eaten. It literally tasted as if it was prepared the day before and served without reheating. Chips were gummy and stale, cheese sauce was cold, little to no meat in our tacos and stale taco shells. We threw it all in the trash and ate sandwiches. I come here often and the service is always fast and very friendly. Compared to all the Taco Bells I've been to this one is the fastest one around. The location is always very clean, restrooms are always kept up and most employees are very sweet and helpful. The one thing that I complain about is how loud the music is and it's mostly rap which is really not a good choice of music for a restaurant. I ordered two freezers from the drive thru, one for me and one for someone else at home. When I got to the window, the worker (Carol was her name) instantly gave me this weird look and insulted me about my weight. Now I'm not the skinniest but not the biggest either. Maybe 5 pounds overweight. She had NO right to say anything regardless if I was 200 or 800 pounds! She needs to be fired and Taco Bell needs to hire workers that are not rude! Recently Taco Bell has built a new location in Lake City Florida. I wanted to know what time the new location closes. I looked online for almost 15 minutes. Could not find an phone number. I then attempted to contact the main or"first" location in Lake City Florida, at 386-755-4675 (according to Google) over the course of 30 minutes, at least 6 times. The utterly unpleasant experience happened several years back but now that there is a forum to rate them, it is time to do so. The workers at that taco bell back then were racist. They gave us these really nasty looks and made us feel totally unwelcome because we were NOT White! I wish I had known about filing a complaint cause I surely would have done so.
