Ok, so I know this is fast food but at least give me not food not luke warm food that didn't taste fresh or that the ingredients have been sitting there for a while. When I spoke to the manager she insisted that there's nothing wrong with the food and did not want to remake the item. She stated that I had the food item for 2 minutes already and that's why is cold. She argued that they did their part and provided the item so there's no problem. I said there is a problem it's not to my liking. I love Taco Bell but the rating is for the staff! I always order from here and they always make mistakes, either missing an order, long wait or couldn't get my order right! Just recently, I ordered their deluxe boxes and ordered online so I dont need to wait longer... To my dismay, all 5 boxes got interchanged. One item went to a different box and so goes with the rest. Had to double check everything before leaving the store and it was quite hilarious. Boxes belong to 5 different people and we had to rearrange and exchange all items to make it right. Terrible customer service at this location. We ordered by mobile app and they put two bags on the shelf. One labeled and the other no label. Of course we grab the one with our name on it. Only 5 items out of 7. We go back to the location and I asked why is there only 5 items and the respond from the lady worker there is well you didn't ask questions. How are we supposed to know it's two bags when you place it on a shelf where you just grab your mobile order. How about you label both bags or put it in a location where you need to ask for it instead of assuming us customers will figure out there's two sealed bags. Had no issues initially. Drive through, ordered my food and paid. Man (Mercedies is name on receipt) hands me the bag, I look in and no hot sauce. No biggie. I ask for a couple packets and the response I got was following his exasperated eye roll "Man I was about to ASK YOU but you just rolled off. Now you want hot sauce?!" It was a simple thing, but the drive through employee made it into an issue when there was none. I said I would please like some hot sauce and he continued to act like this is the biggest inconvenience. "HERE" and dumped a variety of sauces in my hand and turned away staring down the empty lane behind me. This is actually a nicer Taco Bell location. This is located off the freeway (80) across the street from chevron. Parking lot is small but clean. I came after 3pm to try all the nacho fries items (burrito and loaded fries). I was looking forward to it until I got up to the register to order and the employee tells me they "ran out". I was really disappointed. I wanted to walk out but ordered something different instead. The Doritos locos taco was just ok and the shell didn't hold up well. The beef chalupa supreme and the crunch wrap supreme were good as usual. Not a huge fan of the chicken chalupa tho. Note to self: when new items come out, try them early! I love Taco Bell, it's my favorite fast food and this place is real close to my house. Unfortunately, I feel like it gets worse every time I visit. If I go through the drive-through, my order is always missing items. If there are any modifications, they are incorrect. They will have signs up for items they don't have and the portions they serve are half of what they used to be. The crew is friendly enough but I don't know how many times I've tried to bring my family home a quick dinner and have only half the items when I open the bag at home. This location seems to be a hit or miss. What I mean is, the exterior looks Modern, inviting and says skip McDonalds and Burger King. However, entering the premises it too looks inviting except for my afternoon visit on 8-8-19 which I decided to take a break from my commute from the SF Bay Area Peninsula area. As I entered the restaurant, there was no one at the front register, but there is one of those 'in restaurant order kiosk'. But it's location is not in a area that is well suited. It can disrupt patrons who is waiting, ordering at the register (if there was a cashier at the moment in time) or even patrons using the kiosk as it's not really secure or have any privacy. People can bump into one another. Me and another customer ordered thru the kiosk while the other 6 people must have ordered thru the Register. But this is where is got confusing. They started calling out numbers and this guy, who ordered thru the kiosk says, 'you calling out numbers or names?' Then all of a sudden a person came out and asked does anyone need help? We all said we are waiting for our food. One person says how come drive thru is faster than us? My afternoon visit was just full of surprises. Tables not cleaned or wiped. Floors messy, sticky and messy. Fountain drink was a total mess. But what is even more surprising. They ran out of Regular Straws. Regular Straws! How does a location like this, right off I-680 & I-80 run out of straws?! Because it's summer and the Taco Bell Freeze is ongoing, they started giving all customers the Oversize, Boba Tea Pearl Straws. Now like I said it is a hit or miss. Maybe this wasn't the elite afternoon crew, possible short handed, shift change or just relied on the kiosk and drive thru to make their money than sit down customers rather than a face to face dine in experience. What ever the case, Traveler's do look for a nice or at least a clean dining room to dine relax from driving. Maybe McDonald's, Burger King, Del Taco, Wendy's, Jersey Mike's Sub, Denny's, Carl's Jr or Cenario's Pizza can just do that. Will I stop here again? Sure, the food was great. Mobile app ordering is good with drive-thru. Going inside is not the best experience. You're pretty much forced to do kiosk because they won't help you for a very long time if you don't. My issues with that thing is that they forget to give you drinks, and then all of a sudden you're waiting there for 5 min. I don't like being rude, or have to raise my voice to grab someone's attention, but after employees kept waking passed me over and over again I had to just look over the counter and get their attention. The employee who's attention I got was then irritated, and I had to repeat my drink order. They all seem like a cheerful bunch and get along with each other, but don't like being bothered by others not in their group (unless on their initiative), AKA CUSTOMERS. I never thought i would be triggered to write a review for taco bell but here i am writing this review. I go to the drive thru and am greeted through the speaker by a unique and pleasant voice. That added a few sentences of pleasantrys to the standard script. I was immediately caught off guard. I was curious to see who was behind such a nice warm and family felt personality! So i drove up and was welcomed with a smile and a wave to my child in the backseat by Tony! He was so professional and warm and really brightened my day. I usually feel guilt when im in the taco bell line (because we know we shouldnt eat this stuff) but tony made all that guilt go away! The food was fresh and provided quickly! I even told my sister who lives nearby she has to go check out taco bell tony and she said she knew who i was talking about and she and her husband think he is awesome too! Great job Tony! I came here after work with my girlfriend. I ordered her a chicken quesadilla. It really made her happy and she said it tasted "very yummy." There was a modest drive thru line that didn't take too long even with what it looked like that the business was short of staff. Even with that, I wasn't bothered by the drive thru line and the staff was nice. The person that handed me the food gave me plenty of Diablo sauce when I asked which I really appreciated.
