I usually go for corn tortillas no matter the place but I like their flour too. What hooked me in when we found them on a whim was their jalapeño/ salsa verde flavor. It's not very spicy but the red sauce has more heat. Like in comparison to Buldak spice, the red sauce is like 2/5. Seriously reliable, fairly priced and delicious.

Rice and beans were very good, chips were great, the salsa was good but it wasn't spicy at all so if you like spicy salsa I would skip this one. The flavor is spot on - the green & red sauce add a good amount of spice to offset the richness of the meat. We also had the street corn which is creamy & delicious. We had 1 other taco entree, but the name escapes me now. I was assured it was also delicious. I definitely recommend this place. Don't think you'll get away cheap from this place because you won't... but I must say it was worth every penny!! The staff is very friendly too. We will definitely go back.

The lady was really nice and pleasant and helped a couple gringos order dinner. :) Tried their street tacos and had a barbacoa, pastor, and carnitas. It came with rice and beans. May have been an off night. But I can't say that anything was awesome or would I would consider GOOD. It was just kinda meh. The barbacoa had a lot of grease, which I would expect to be very flavorful. It was somewhat bland. The pastor was really dry and probably my least favorite. It may have just been in the warmer all day or something. The carnitas wasn't bad. It was tender and the best flavor. Their salas were good. The green didn't have any heat to it and had a pleasant taste. The red one had a nice flavor but made me sweat a bit. The rice was light, fluffy and tasted food. The beans were beans... not a ton of flavor could've used some salt. Decent dining experience. It's in an older gas station. Not the cleanest place (not the taqueria's fault), but it wasn't nasty. Won't swear this place off, but not in a rush to go back. Service was fast and friendly. May have been an off night for them. There are worse places to eat.... We supported a small business, if nothing else. :)

Living in SoCal, amazing Mexican food was everywhere, so I've definitely been spoiled. Since moving to Dallas, it's been one disappointment after another... until we found this place. It was so good our family came back 3 times in 2 weeks. That alone should tell you everything. My go-to is the Tinga de Pollo and the Birria tacos. So flavorful and exactly what I've been missing. The rest of my family kept ordering the birria and quesabirria, and there wasn't a single complaint at the table. Don't skip the aguas frescas either. We tried the melon, limón, and Jamaica, and every one of them was refreshing and delicious. Just a heads up... weekends get PACKED. But honestly? It's worth the wait. If you can swing a weekday, it's much more relaxed. I'm so glad we stumbled across this spot. It's become our go-to whenever we're craving authentic Mexican food, and it's easily one of the closest things we've found to what we used to enjoy back in Southern California. We'll definitely keep coming back.

I ordered two fajita gorditas and my husband ordered a torta cubana. The chefs are cooking nonstop so it feels nice and warm inside. The air smells of happiness and salsa, you hear speaking all around you. The sound of people not on their phones and enjoying each others company. The gorditas took forever to cook (like 20 min) and everyone else was getting their taco orders... so I would not order gorditas again. They also were just stuffed with meat and nothing else. There was a weird side (like the repollo for pupusas) and it was all wet and made one side of the gordita wet. Their food is normally super good. My husband loved his Cuban torta. It was packed with meat- no skimming here! It also came with a bag of chips. It cost us $25 for both people, no drinks. Super affordable!
