Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the restaurant was shocking. The dining area had trash, napkins, straw wrappers, and food scattered across the floor, and our table had salsa smeared on it. Looking into the kitchen made things even worse. There were bits of cheese, tortillas, and other food debris all over the floor where the cooks were working. I also saw a metal pan of food resting on top of a bucket, and the trash can was literally overflowing with old packaging. Every area we could see appeared dirty, giving the impression that basic cleanliness standards were not being maintained. We still decided to eat because we'd always had good experiences with our DoorDash orders. Unfortunately, after dining in, we both experienced food poisoning. While I can't say with certainty what caused it, combined with what we observed inside the restaurant, it was enough that we won't be eating here again or ordering from this location through DoorDash. While we were there, I overheard an employee mention that most of their business comes from DoorDash and other delivery services. If you've only ever ordered delivery like we did, I'd encourage you to visit the restaurant in person before deciding whether you want to place another order.

The tacos were ok - we would have been better off just enjoying our sweet pea guacamole and chips. I really liked the rice bowl, but would have preferred that the chicken be grilled rather than heavily breaded. A fun spot to enjoy a pop on a sunny patio.

Aside from the main entree's they also offer a selection of Tapas and salad selections For my first meal here I got their custom blend cheese burger that had caramelized onions, house made pickles, lettuce, tomato and a house sauce with fries. The burger was very tasty cooked to perfection with a medium doneness (no over cooking here unless you ask for it) where the sauce and pickles gave it a unique flavor profile that I liked. Fries were crunchy and nicely done as well. For my drink I ordered a house Margarita from their tequila inspired craft cocktail menu. The Margarita was very smooth and quite tasty and very reasonably priced at $10. MY only gripe with the drink is it was made with Reposadao tequila where my personal tastes trend towards a brighter Margarita and Blanco tequila. Having said that I could drink this Margarita all day long! Relative to staff and facility, the restaurant is definately on the rustic side where it could probably use an update on the ceramic floors and tables/chairs. It's not bad but it would add greater appeal if they invested a little more money on the interior in my opinion. Staff was super friendly and I enjoyed my conversation with my waitress who also served as the bartender. Two margaritas added roughly $36 to our dinner bill, and our total ended up around $85 for two people eating tacos/Tex-Mex. As for the food, my taco salad was huge and very good, so I have no complaint there. My friend's taco combo, however, was a very small portion--one little taco with rice and beans--and he ended up ordering another $6 taco because he was still hungry. We also waited quite a while to get our bill while there seemed to be an issue with a takeout order. My biggest complaint is the drink pricing. I don't mind a restaurant charging whatever price it chooses, but customers should be able to see the price BEFORE ordering. Finding out only when the bill arrives that two margaritas cost around $36 feels very misleading. Good taco salad, but the undisclosed drink prices left a terrible impression.
