Never come here after 5pm. I don't understand why, but they can never seem to get anything together right during their night shifts. Drive thru takes forever to respond once you drive up, they can't understand what you order and say "what" to almost everything you say, once you finally get to the window, you'll be lucky if you get a friendly greeting, you'll be lucky to get a drink that isn't low on syrup, and you'll strike the jackpot if they don't ask you to pull up, EVEN IF THERE ARE NO CARS BEHIND YOU. 80% of the time, the food to order is not right when you receive it. I've never once came at night and had a good experience. And the average wait time from you pulling up to the drive thru is 13 minutes, on a good day. read more

This place is horrible!!! I drove all the way from Kaplan. I ordered a grilled stuft steak burrito. I ordered EXTRA steak. I specifically said, "hey, you got the extra steak in there?" Sat afternoon (May 6) On way home to Crowley decided to pick up a variety meal and two burrito supremes at Taco Bell in Abbeville. Everything was awful. Soft Tacos and crisp tacos were miniscule with hardly anything inside. The burrito supremes reduced in size and content. $19.00 inc taxes.. Forgot the spice packages but was never offered. My wife had stomach pains all night. I took her to the Crowley (Acadia Hospital) emergency room this morning. Had xrays etc. thinking possibly gall blatter but doctor said all good must have been something she ate. The food appeared so bad Lhat I took pictures of it........I will gladly send pictures. Much like Christian A., our experience after 5pm was waiting nearly 25 minutes just to get to the order box; several cars pulled out of the drive thru line and left. One lady had been waiting for over an hour and then had to go inside to get her order. At the order box, everything ordered had to be repeated. When we got to the window to pick up, the young woman was robotic and handed the bag through the window with her face turned away, no "thank you" or courtesy whatsoever. We didn't get a receipt, no napkins and the burrito supreme was a joke; more tortilla than ingredients inside. Both cars in front of us had to pull into parking spaces and wait for their order to be brought to them, and the bags looked small like one or two items ordered. I went inside to ask for a receipt and was told their system was down. How, if the system was down, did the order show up on the screen, did the total come up on their computerized cash register? I found out that the last time my husband came to taco bell, (evening again) they said their system was down, no receipt, minimal ingredients in the items we ordered. It seems like a night crew scam of some sort...I'm seeing negative comments on similar experiences and the night crew and, "no receipt" comments. Seven employees in the restaurant, trash piled outside at the back door, one of the employees standing outside chatting with a person in their vehicle for 20 minutes. I used to have great experiences at the Abbeville taco bell until the past few years with new management and the quality as well as quantity of the food is sub-par every single time. If I order the same menu items in Lafayette, man, the food is twice as much, (portions as they should be) in comparison to the Abbeville location. I know it must be hard to keep good employees, but the manager needs to make some serious improvements to the night crew. read more

Normally, I do like the food. And the place is fine too. Sometimes, they do have mess ups but that's expected. This time though, absolutely hated it. I have promised myself that I am not going back. They got me order wrong. They gave me food with meat in it and I asked to leave that out specifically. I'm a vegetarian and did not appreciate this at all. Not only that but the employees were very creepy and made me extremely uncomfortable. It wasn't because of the way they looked or anything, but how they were acting.
