These place has the biggest best tasting breakfast tacos. If you haven't tried them your missing out.

This place is so good. The fresh tortillas are thin and not too heavy, so just as I prefer. The tacos are more like burritos. I prefer the deshebrada, with cilantro and onions. I've had beef fajita and my hubby likes the others. The hot sauces are the best, I like a mixture but most often use the green one. Last time, my hubby ordered a cheeseburger, well, it was huge and came with fries. So, it appears, nothing it made small here. I usually eat 2 tacos, their one is 2-3 at most places. The staff is friendly, they close at 3 , so if you have a craving, get there fast. After waiting, now I have a craving and will have to wait for another day. I'll get pics next time, this place needs some so others can see how good they are. Not that they aren't busy, they always have a line or call in orders when we are there. read more

Tried this place for the first time two days ago and I have no complaints me and my wife got bacon, egg, and cheese tacos and they were delicious and tacos were very full and large unlike other taquerias in Alvin. Definitely will be going back very soon!!!!! read more

I have to seriously disagree with the previous reviewer. I carry out here as often as several days per week, as does my family. Sotero, front of house, is friendly and can handle even the busiest days with ease. I almost always order their Top Seller breakfast taco, whether it's breakfast time or not - bacon, egg, potato, and cheese. YUMMY!! I do order with extra bacon, because I don't feel like I get the proper ratio unless I do. And the tortillas? I ONLY order corn tortillas, and I've never been told that they don't have them. In fact, they're some of the most delicious, homemade corn tortillas I've had. And I LOVE their aguas frescas. They will change your life. Fruit and water - so simple, yet so REFRESHING and delicious. If you haven't figured it out, I highly recommend eating here. This is a hole-in-the-wall type of place, so don't expect the Ritz! Its our first time here and they were about to Close when we drop in. The lady said that ok we will stay open until you all get done. So my wife & I Ordered two Menudo and some fruit. Since we're both from the Rio Grande Valley. I'm updating my review and lowering from 4 stars to 2 stars. Something has changed in the last few months. The quality has gone way down. The cheese is awful and the meat is very oily, more than it should be. I had only tried the breakfast tacos and they were good but had been very greasy and hard the last few times. Today I ordered the torta, I wish I hadn't. First I asked the man is this REAL fajita meat (skirt steak) he said yes. It's NOT fajita meat, I don't know what it was but it's ALL fat. Look below and see all the meat I couldn't eat. It was the worst torta I've ever had !!! My hubby ordered the tamales and almost choked they were terrible. We get breakfast tacos from here almost every Sunday. They are the best, and their salsa is delicious!

I hate this place so much. I just do. What Mexican food place NEVER has corn tortillas?Their tacos are tasteless and greasy. The fajita is in big dry pices and the barbocoa is just nasty. No onions or cilantro and the flour tortillas are like rubber. They get your order wrong EVERY single time . The Menudo and Posole are ok but since I hate this place I will find elsewhere. Oh my goodness!!.... As a life long Houstonian, and an honorary Hispanic, I know good tex-mex. I have a thing for what's commonly called a street taco: steak, cilantro, onions. Usually, I opt for the good enough taco cabana sort. That is, until now! The fajita taco, here, amazing!! Word to the wise, their tacos.... The size of burritos. I asked for five, which I can eat at that fast food place, the guy kind of chuckled and said I think that's too much for you. Are you really hungry? So I ordered two. And fought my way through the second. But they're soooooo yummy. The flour tortillas are homemade greatness and the fajita meat had so much flavor, through and through. Perfect amount of onions and cilantro. Really nice people, quick service, cute hole in the wall sort of place, cumfy. And my dining companion loved the breakfast tacos: bacon, cheese, egg, chorizo. Great balance of flavor. Salsa was flavorful, not too hot. Huge selection of drinks. Next time, I'm getting the watermelon juice!! read more

I have grown up with authentic Mexican food. I miss my mom's cooking and this place reminds me of it. So good! I have not had a menu item I have not enjoyed. Based on their breakfast tacos alone, I have to give them 4 stars. Hands down the best I've had in a while. Everything about them was perfection. Seriously. I don't give out those kind of compliments lightly. I was actually happy that I had the presence of mind to stop and eat here. I have passed this place hundreds of time and never gave them a second thought until today. Not sure why, but my stomach is glad that I did. Stopped by here on my way home and was feeling like a good burro. It's not fancy and a good grab and go place. They do have small seating area inside and a few picnic tables outside. Burro is good and huge! I have the fajita meat burro and I liked it, was not to greasy at all. I will try their breakfast tacos next time. read more
