But the last couple of years have simply been too much trouble with sloppy results on my blades. The last straw was the 2 week turn around, I think they simply forgot about me. The shop is also randomly open/closed during the day, making it difficult to actually pick up your knives. Hope they fix things but for now I'll go elsewhere.

The blade wasn't sharpened all the way to the hilt (or the tip on one side), the edge was ground sloppily so my nice knife's now ugly as sin, and whoever was running the belt grinder actually managed to take a notch out of the handle (that I had to melt with a lighter for the knife to be usable). I wish I'd realized the quality of the work before I took the knife home.

In fact, I'm not sure it was ever sharpened and was so dull it had become child proof. I also had a little paring knife, which I had dropped several months back and the tip broke off so that was going to get repaired and sharpened. As it explained on the website it there are various drop off points, but it is easiest for me just to go directly to his home location in Paramus. I pulled up and handed over my knives. The next morning, my knives were ready for pick up. I got a fair warning to be very careful as they would be extremely sharp and many don't realize until it's too late. I was so excited to use my knives that I immediately took out a tomato which I had not been able to slice without lots of pressure and a mess for a long time. I couldn't believe the ease of slicing through. I didn't have to apply any pressure and had a beautiful sliced piece. I did end up with a tiny cut on my thumb, even after Enrico's thoughtful warning, but it was so worth it to have these amazing sharp knives. Also for reference he charges by the length of the knife so for my two knives and the tip being repaired, it was only $14.50. Well worth it. Highly highly recommend.

When getting my 25 blades (ranging in all sized) i realized that none of them were sharpened well…read more called him and he advised me to buy a new clipper that it must be that. i brought them back he admitted they where not sharp and that he would fix it. i purchased a new clipper just for shits and giggles and what do you know it was really just bad sharpening. i have given him a chance to make it right all in all i had to eat the 600 that it was to sharpen my scissors ( which are catching ) and deal with it. even small claims court advised me not to peruse seeing it was so small of a suit.
