His responses to my questions were more prompt and more helpful than I had expected, so I felt safer about trusting him. Since we are in different states, I mailed off a large box with my collection of knives and scissors. They were sharpened and returned to me very quickly -- even faster than the service I used to use in my same city! Each piece is perfectly cleaned and sharpened, and my cooking has already been improved just by using them!! I brought my very beat up mulching mower blades and he put a very nice edge on all 4 surfaces. I picked up the next day, but I'm sure he would have down the work on the spot if I needed. (it was a lot of work-they hadn't been off the mower in years,had hit a big rock etc.) Mower cuts great now, no more 2cd passes needed. Reasonable price, great service,would give more stars if allowed. He even balanced them, even though I hadn't thought to ask about that. Would use again. Highly recommended. read more

I took some knives that I tried to sharpen and realized I better leave it to an expert. This guy is great, you get them sharpened while you wait. The prices are more than fair and they are like razors, I'm serious. Don't expect a fancy workshop, just a professional that knows his stuff. Professional knife sharpening at it's best. Six knives were sharpened for $30. One of the knives was uses for cutting a 25lb roast. It cut it like butter.
