Brand New Hotel! Opened July 2026.
EXTERIOR:
The hotel is located on University Avenue, past a church on the left. There's a new Starbucks on the right side. You have plenty of parking lot in the front of the building and more parking space in the back. There is a small outdoor seating by the front entrance with four chairs.
LOBBY:
Crystal at the front desk was so nice and helpful checking me in early. If you are coming to stay here, say hi to Crystal, she's easy to talk to and will be more than helpful to assist you. The lobby is small and practical.
Your Check-In Desk will be on the left side of the entrance. On the right side you will find tables and comfortable seats. They offer minimal Grab 'n' Go Breakfast with muffins, fruits, Nutri Grain and Nature Valley bars. You have option for hot Rainforest Coffee and hot water with Tazo tea bags.
ROOM:
My King Room Suite was very spacious, clean and with modern design. The room offers, a very comfy king bed, a working desk with large LG TV above it. What makes this room a unique concept is the spacious kitchen layout with modern appliances. You have your own fridge, a multifunctional microwave, a coffeemaker with Rainforest coffee pods, Tea Kettle and a dishwasher that comes with clean dishes.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this room without any major issues. The only thing I would have to say is you can hear the people upstairs when they are walking. Otherwise, the room was quiet and peaceful during the day and night.
BATHROOM:
I personally loved the bathroom layout. A large LED Vanity mirror with a spacious countertop sink. Good faucet water pressure. Shower was spacious with double glass doors. For your enjoyment, they offer KenethMD Soin Capillaire shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Very generous amount of towels are offered in the bathroom that are clean.
I will mention that my bathroom didn't have A/C vent. When taking a shower, between running hot water and the large LED mirror, it can get toasty. I had to prop open the bathroom door to let room A/C come inside.
FITNESS ROOM:
The fitness center is room key accessible. I was able to get a quick morning workout done with the equipment provided by Life Fitness and Peloton. While you get your fitness in check, they have a water cooler with towels for your convenience. The Fitness Room was spacious, clean and can comfortably accommodate ten plus guests at any given time. There is a laundry facility next to the Fitness Center.
OVERALL:
This was a great experience for me and I will be returning to stay here when visiting Texarkana. The hotel is designed to be as a regular hotel, or modern luxury, extended stay. Between the helpful staff and all the complimentary amenities that are provided in your room, it's worth staying here. Keep in mind since this is a brand new hotel, they are still working out kinks. If you have any issues, politely let a staff know to make them aware. I mentioned a few things and they were happy to accept it and address the issues.
