We have been here twice for lunch. The first time we sat in the back and as it was very busy for lunch we had long wait times for our food. Today we were with elderly family so we were early before the crowd and got to sit up front by the door. Service was much faster of course and so we enjoyed being able to pop in and out today. They had some great specials that everyone else ordered and I wanted something else on the menu which they were out of so I ended up getting one of the specials. The food was good, the cheese they're toting is a softer cheese but with a Parmesan flavor, good enough I'm hunting for some to bring back to the states. The pork was a little over cooked and maybe it's because they worry about foreigners being picky, it was dry but i took the rest home and going to make an omelette with it in the morning so that the richness of the egg helps. The bread was a broa style so a bit tough for my liking. Salad and olives were great as was the fried egg, rice and French fries. Our company had the vegetable soup, red fish with roasted potatoes(yum) and the pasta stew(great flavor and sauce, meats are assorted cuts). Definitely a solid place for an authentic meal. read more
