Such a great experience from start to finish. Interior of the restaurant is very attractive and inviting. We ordered from the menu, plus a couple of specials of the day, and selected a bottle of Ribera del Duero from their brief but very well thought out wine list. Every dish we had was excellent, starting with an amuse bouche of perfectly seasoned scrambled egg with bits of Iberico ham. We then enjoyed a super creative skewer of ham, padron peppers, red onion, and a bacon wrapped date topped with a delicious sauce with a hint of curry flavor... so good! Next was shrimp in garlic oil with a very nice bit of spicy heat in the oil. The highlight of our meal on a rainy day was a stew of garbanzos with seafood. The flavors of this stew was amazing, one of my favorite dishes in recent memory. We were already quite full, but we had to share a dessert so we tried their carrot cake. Closer to the recipes I know and love from the US, but without any unnecessary sweetness or over the top cream frosting. I can't recommend this place enough - I can't wait until we go back. read more
