I'm updating my review of TA Express because after I sent a complaint to Phillips 66 corporate (which includes Conoco), I ultimately received a decent reply from the store's general manager. Originally I gave the place just one star. While I was put off from the condition of the Men's room, the GM assured me that steps were being taken to bring it up to standard. I appreciate receiving the message, and I've updated my score to include that and also to represent what my overall impression of TA Express is now, which includes friendly staff, nice store, and working gas pumps that properly give a receipt and also have a sensible volume for the feedback "beeps" they make. Here's a portion of my original review. I've edited the part where I was probably over-reacting to the Men's room: "This is also a Conoco gas station. I filled gas here last night, no problem. I walked into the store, and it looked like a typical gas-station-convenience-store. Again, no problem here--the attendant was polite and wished me a good evening. The problem was the Men's room appeared to not have been cleaned in a while." read more
