After backing into a pole, I took my car to them for some bodywork. I needed to get my bumper replaced and painted, their price was $5500. I have the most common color for a late teens Subaru -- dark blue-gray -- two of my neighbors have the same color paint on their Subarus. After waiting 9 days, what I got back was the bumper painted a lighter gray color with dimples on the edges where it was forced into place. I asked them about the color difference and they said it would age and get darker, and that I should return in a week. I went back a week later and asked them about the paint and the nice woman at the counter said they were 'trying to save me money and that I would have to pay an extra few hundred dollars to get a blending job' from lighter gray to the dark blue-gray. Typical bait and switch. I walked away, knowing that they'd probably mess that up too. It's like they didn't even try to match it, and it's so typical of the mechanics and other repair and contractor people I've run into here in Silver City, do a crap job, get your money, and ask for even more money to get it done right. read more
