T. Tobin is a typical market shoe shop. It seems to be trying to target a broad range of customers. They sell sensible footwear clearly aimed at the elderly lady, slippers to suit a range of ages and tastes, untrendy shoes and trainers for blokes, plimsolls and converse style shoes, flat boots for women, heeled boots and very high-heeled strappy shoes. So most bases are covered - more in fact than many larger shops.
Shoes are non brand name, or at least no well-known brand names and are very cheap. I imagine this reflects the quality, though I can't be sure. For women looking for less practical, more fashionable shoes there is a limited range and for winter-proof boots it may be worth investing a bit more money elsewhere to see you through wet weather. But for someone shopping for sensible, practical shoes on a tight budget T. Tobin might do the job, and there is a cobbler or two in the market if the quality is indeed lacking. read more
