We had just left Punta Gorda's Farmer Market and we decided to try T and D Bakery for coffee and a nosh. Tucked away in a little plaza on Marion Avenue, directly diagonal to the Celtic Ray, is this charming little bakery and food place. Everything is gluten free and preservative free. So on Saturday they have a limited menu, and we both chose the ham and cheese quiche that was accompanied by two small pieces of gluten free sandwich bread, butter and some apple slices. I chose the cappuccino which I like more foamy than milky, and Dave had a regular coffee. FYI, I am now counting carbs along with my low fat diet lol! Gosh, it's getting complicated! Everything was delish and served in a styrofoam container. The bakery requires masks and social distancing and there are signs that tell you so! The owners are wearing masks too! They have a website where you can order everything online and pick it up, because gluten free bakeries are a scarcity in our area. We thank T and D bakery for caring about their customers and their community by respecting the guidelines during this trying time. As always we love supporting our neighborhood community businesses. They give so much back to us!

The food here is great and the customer service is even better!! I came in as soon as they opened and I was greeted by both owners of the store. I looked over the menu and it's been shortened a bit due to covid etc, but I was told everything on the old menu can still be ordered you just have to order certain things like pot pies and Sheppard's pie 24-48 hours in advance. They were only serving breakfast items, and I had forgotten how early it was so I asked for a chicken wrap and the owner told me those are a lunch item but he & his wife still made it for me anyways, which I appreciate greatly. They definitely didn't have to do that. It was delicious AND gluten free! I also ate a couple of the cinnamon buns that were also delicious, but slightly over done when heated. I think next time I'll eat them unheated. The interior is small but very cute and not crowded at all. I felt completely comfortable sitting down to dine with my young son. Some seating is closed off but there's still plenty of room to dine. Everything was very clean from tables to floors and masks were worn. The self serve coffee bar is closed, but there is a sign saying that they will personally serve you the coffee. There's plenty of yummy things to eat here and everything is homemade! (except for the bagels) They sell loaves of bread as well which are ordered by the local restaurants so I'm sure they sell out fast. All in all I had a great experience and I definitely plan on coming back to eat an egg and cheese breakfast bagel!

What an amazing find! We have always passed this coffee shop when it was located on Marion Avenue,…read morebut we never went in. Now close to the dog park and Fisherman's Village, it's a real find. Plenty of parking including handicapped and a ramp into the shop. Lots of tables, high and low so you can enjoy your coffee outside in this beautiful weather. I went in and ordered a decaf cappuccino and it was done perfectly! I'm a coffee snob and my drink had plenty of foam and deep delicious espresso. I got Dave a caramel latte and a Hazelnut Sunrise Cream Pastry, while I had a Spinach Feta Lattice one. LJ was our cashier and another lady brought Freckles a beautiful pup cup with whipped cream and three doggies treats. They make their own whipped cream! Now off to Hounds of Henry Street so Freckles can run around after her special treat! What a beautiful afternoon! Next time we will eat inside and try the chocolate and wine bar!

Such welcoming and friendly staff! I barely opened the door…read morewhen this warm staff opened the door for me and welcomed me inside. This was my first time so she explained the coffee & tea portion and area. In the same shop there's also some unique wines for purchase, a chocolate area which is made in house! And even a wine tasting area. So awesome! Of course on top of that they sell all different types of coffee beans and some tea. I met my friend and we both got their coffee flight! WOW delicious and variety. It was a lot of caffeine but worth it and I was still fine to sleep that night haha, for my meal I got their breakfast sandwich, it was delicious and I love that it came with a side of fruit! I wish I lived closer but I will definitely come back here again. It's such a great idea, not just a morning cafe but great for the whole day. Some seating outside as well if you have a dog with you. Lots of parking in the lot and clean unisex restrooms!

The cashier kindly informed me…read morewhere the nearest ATM was, and offered to package up my donuts then so I could swing back around to pay when I got cash. She was very helpful and kind. The inside of the store is cute and has all of the donuts on display, as well as some seating. I ordered a mini apple fritter and a raspberry jam filled glazed donut. The apple fritter was served warm and had huge chunks of apple in it! It also had a really nice flavor, though it was a little greasier than I'd like. The raspberry jam filled glazed donut was definitely my favorite! The glaze was perfectly crackly and sweet, and the donut itself was so fluffy and soft. It had a very generous amount of that jam filling, which was both tart and sweet! Absolutely delicious and I definitely recommend this one.

Today I only picked up a few sweets - an apple fritter, a valentines decorated donut, a cinnamon role, a cup of coffee and one other sweet item. Everything was very good. The line doesn't move too fast since every person's order seems like a custom order that has to be put together, but overall the wait is worth it!
