I purchased a new refrigerator several weeks ago and when it arrived with a dent in one of the doors I called their appliance department and the lady quickly handled the issue and resolved it quickly. Today I stopped in to pick up paint samples, but basically walked through the entire store. In every department I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance. I was told about special promotions in the vanity and faucet area by a very pleasant associate. In the key and cabinet hardware area the associate told me where I could locate him if I needed assistance. All this reflected on an excellent store management team. I've been pricing faucets and stainless steel sinks and prices here are extremely competitive. I personally enjoy shopping this location.

The big minus for the Lowes stores I have visited is you can never find anyone to help answer questions. When you do find someone there's a 25% chance that they will be able to answer questions about products they sell. This is a big barrier for me. If you are selling products that you want me to buy then put people in place that know the products in their area. Otherwise do what Walmart does. Make the prices lower and expect me to do the research.
