We finished our shopping for the day and swung back by to pick up the repaired IPad. The shop is VERY VERY new, and they are still working to get the shop products on the shelves. If you have a device that needs some work, I'd recommend giving these guys a shot.

Plus, they could have not done on the same day. They would have to order the parts in order to replace my screen. I also called several other chain screen repair shops. They wanted me to come in for a consultation before they would fix my phone. I was getting very frustrated. On Friday thinking I was just going to need to buy new phone with all the prices being between 160 and $200 for a screen repair. Friday, September 20 at 7 PM I decided to look 1 more time. I found this store (I fix and repair) inside the Cornelia Walmart. The store was open until 830. By the time I got there it was 8:05. I brought my phone in and showed the guy the damage. He was pleasant and told me he could get my phone repaired and out the door in about 20 minutes. He was a super nice person. This is a family business. And within 25 minutes he had me fixed with a new screen and screen protector and out the door for under $100. I believe if you would bring a phone to most places, and they only had 1/2-hour before they closed. That they would turn away business. Not this guy, he was like. You give me 20 minutes and I will get you taken care of. It is a small shop inside the Cornelia Walmart. They have accessories and phones to purchase inside their store as well. In the area where I work, I had virtually no usable mobile data. I tested the speed with Speedtest, and it was only about **0.6 Mbps**. I explained to the employee exactly where the problem was occurring. She checked the area on her computer and told me that, according to their system, the coverage in that area was working perfectly. At the same time, I called a family member who also has Verizon and was in the same area, and he confirmed that he was also having the same problem with his service. Instead of trying to help me resolve the issue or submit a service complaint, the employee started trying to sell me **Verizon Home Internet** and telling me that I needed it. I have been using Verizon mobile service for about two years, and I do not need home internet. Because my English is not very good, I used ChatGPT to help me explain my problem clearly and asked the employee if she could submit some kind of report or service request so Verizon could investigate the issue. Her response was essentially that **there was nothing she could do to help me**. She even suggested that maybe the weather was affecting the service and told me that I needed to call customer support myself. I left the store and about 30 minutes later checked Verizon's website myself. I found the network status information and discovered that **maintenance was actually being performed in that area throughout the day, with service expected to be restored around 1:00 AM.** So the information I needed was available on Verizon's own website, yet the employee at the store could not--or would not--help me find it. This was a very frustrating experience. I went to the store specifically because I needed help with a Verizon service problem, but instead of receiving assistance, I felt like I was being pushed toward purchasing an additional service. When there was an actual problem, I was simply told to call customer support and deal with it myself. **Very poor customer service and absolutely no sense of customer care. It felt like selling additional services was more important than helping an existing customer with a legitimate problem.** I expected much better from Verizon.
