This place is huge. When it comes to outlet malls this is the place you want to drive to. It's…read moreblocks long and has every store possible. We drove 2 hours for school clothes Shopping and it was a one stop got all! It was also well worth it. The mall is clean and has plenty of options to sit down and rest it also has eatery options and places to grab a beverage. There are little kid rides to keep them occupied and an indoor area to cool off in. We went on a weekend and it was very busy. But all the places we went into the staff was always friendly and willing to help us. We actually did so much shopping we had to make a trip to the car to put some bags in. Speaking of heading to the parking lot, parking is a bit hairy. I think they need more parking to accommodate all the visitors. We drove around for 6 min trying to find a spot. On that note also there are several blocks that you will have to park at or else walk a long ways. Different shops on separate blocks. After shopping there are tons of local places to eat cause you'll need it after all the walking you did! We had a great time and would def go again and I highly recommend going.

I found Hollister still that classic fantastic blend of youthful college kid and surprisingly decent throwback to simple button ups and many vintage styles still looking good. Well, basically: these outlet malls prove more and more all the more reasons to try eBay, TJ Maxx, Burlington, and Ross instead.

Perhaps at one time, this mall was teeming with stores and busy shoppers. Now it is a rather…read moredesolate place, simply a few hallways with boarded over stores connecting the few struggling anchors. I personally find comfort in places nearly or totally abandoned. (Never did I claim to be the normal one!) The mall definitely has a stuck in the 1970s vibe to it, and I did enjoy the emptiness and solitude in a sort of macabre way. Sears, Carson's, JC Penney's(which is slated to close later this year,) a used video game store, an appointment-only wig shop, a Chinese buffet and hibachi grill restaurant, a gym with an exterior entrance only, and a tourism bureau outpost are the few lone survivors in this place. The main mall is no longer properly heated nor lit. It does seem to have a good draw with those who like to power walk through the vast amounts of empty space, but that's about it. Oh, and the Carson's smells heavily of industrial grade disinfectant, age, and mothballs.

UPDATE - 4FEB16 - Mall interior has closed. :( My little one, now almost 5, cried to hear the 'old…read moremall' has closed. We'll miss you Marquette Mall. We were your biggest fan. My 2yr old daughter & I love the 'old mall'. Plenty of free parking, indoor space for her to run around, and the small business owners are very nice. We like the escalator at JCP's and the kiddie rides. There's more for us here than at the Lighthouse Outlets.
