Service extended was really wonderful and great. Cashiers are very fast in attending the customers needs plus supervisors are always at their back to extend their help and knowledge in dealing with different circumstances. I do really admire their all out support plus extending their expertise. They have ample stock of selections in every department. You can find what you're looking fast. I love TJ Maxx and all, clothes, merchandise with good prices etc. But this RUDE woman by the fitting rooms (Janet I believe that's her name) should NOT give out her opinions on what looks good or bad on people because she was a "art teacher" Today on 03/24/2025, I went on to try a few pairs of jeans plus this really nice brown off the shoulder long sleeved dress. I'm hanging up the dress, along with 9 other clothes to try on (since it's 10 pieces of clothing allowed at a time), and she walks over to me about to give me a fitting room number key or whatever, proceeds to ask me if I was "sure" if I wanted to try on the brown dress. First of all, why wouldn't I be sure about trying on a dress I liked? I said "yes ma'am, I really like the color" and she says "I don't think it matches your skin tone". I was like "tf? Who does this bitch think she is?" Then I realized the dress wasn't the correct size, l told her I changed my mind about the dress and she said "okay, between you and me, I don't think it would've looked good on you anyway since you're skin is so white". I swear I wanted to punch that woman, but I held it in, angrily told her that I don't wanna try on anything else, hung up the rest of the jeans and asked for her name. She gave the me the name, I went up to the cashier, asked for the store manager and she comes up, I reported the incident (it's my fault I should've recorded the whole thing) and told the store manager "I used to work at Target and I would NEVER speak like that to a customer. even if it was a plus size woman trying on a XS bikini set" She apologized, thanked me and walked away. I seriously hope she loses her job bc of that, or at least a write up. read more

Went here last weekend and had such an odd experience. I walked in with a napkin to wipe my cart off. After walking around a little and filling my cart, I approached the older lady in the fitting room. I asked her if she had a garbage back there and showed her my napkin. I did see one back there and I used to work in retail, I know how customers can get gross and leave garbage everywhere especially in the fitting rooms, I never want to be that person wanting other adults to clean up after me. The fitting room lady looks at me and in the most helpful tone ever she tells me that there are garbages that I can use outside the store.. basically shes telling me to leave the store to use the trash.... With my cart full of items. That is absolutely insane to micromanage garbage. Helpful tone but unhelpful information and just rude. Managers: I used to be a manager too, tell your associates to relax about saying no to customers. Having an accessible garbages helps for less to clean later. read more

This particular Tj Maxx is my favorite location of the chain! I visit here every time I'm in town from Texas! Pros: Terrific Selection: from juniors clothing to home goods, it's always got cute finds. Also a strong selection from reputable brands - hard not to walk out the store with a cart full of finds Well Organized: it's easy to find things and everything is clean and in place. Some of these discount stores can get messy but it's spacious and easy to navigate. Cons: Bathrooms: Could be cleaner. To be fair, I haven't checked in a year but that's because it's was so bad last I went I now avoid it to the extreme. Service: I've had mixed customer experiences with staff, sometimes nice but other times unprofessional like taking across the floor about bad working conditions. Overall the pros def surpass the cons, at least for me :) read more

I really like this location and appreciate that it's clean and relatively uncrowded given that it's right off the highway. I live in a very densely populated area and, let me just tell you, the discount stores in my neck of the woods are universally a hot mess with little in the way of good buys, zero organization, and long, long lines. I think the strength of this store is definitely its selection of bags and shoes and sometimes clothing. They even have a jewelry case in the middle with some good buys on high-quality, mid-range items. My favorite thing about these kinds of store is the "thrill of the hunt" because I never know what kind of bargain I'll find. It doesn't always happen but when it does, I'm thrilled to pieces. Walked in the ladies room and saw a lovely sign - they redid the bathrooms. Um you forgot the changing table???? I find that ridiculous. Besides that big glaring problem, store is nice and organized. Nice service. read more

Our local TJ Maxx, good deals, clean facility and a friendly staff. Not much selection in the area, so if you're looking for a decent pair of socks or underwear, go for it. Never been to the women's bathroom, so I can't comment on the 1-star lady's issue! read more
