I highly recommend taking any training course with T.A.C. Training Assessment Cell LLC here in OKC! My husband and I took the basic handgun course with instructor Houston, and he was absolutely phenomenal! I walked into the class nervous and scared as I have never seen or dealt with a firearm a day in my life prior to this course. I left feeling confident, proud, excited to take more courses with him and most importantly well education on how to handle a handgun in a safe responsible manner. Instructor Houston's skills, expertise and dedication to safety and training have left an amazing impression on me. I loved that during the course he took his time explaining everything, thoroughly gave instructions throughout every exercise we practiced, made sure everyone felt comfortable with whatever exercise we were learning, allowed us to learn from any mistakes we made during the exercises. And reinforced the core principles and foundations to safely handle our firearm. I really appreciated that when it came to the live firing portion of the course, he gave special attention to myself and another student who needed extra help! And prior to the start of the course, I called to let him know I had no experience with any firearms, so he secured the perfect handgun and ammunition for me to fire with for my first time. His extra efforts and teaching style showed how much he cared for all of us in the course. And I truly admired that, and had an awesome time. My husband and I will definitely be taking more course with him, and we highly recommend taking a course with him no matter your skill level! You will enjoy it! Thank you instructor Houston, and your assistant instructor for such a great experience read more

I took Pistol 1 on Sept 8 and must say What a Terrific Class!! Very impressive. I have been shooting since 2012, but I was only plinking targets and going to public gun ranges. Instructor Denham brought all his years of experience and taught us solid fundamentals in the classroom and on the laser range before we ever set foot on the live fire range. By the end of this 1-day course, I was comfortable reloading multiple times and shooting while standing, kneeling, prone and moving forward, sideways and backwards. Talk about being much more prepared for self defense and situational awareness! This class teaches you important skills that you can use in life and in preparation for pistol matches. Houston also worked with me one-on-one until I understood my problem and showed improvement. He is a patient and honest instructor. Safety is key. I fully intend to continue training at TAC. *I very strongly recommend TAC and Houston Denham for anyone interested in improving their firearm fundamentals, shooting skills and mental strength for dire situations.* read more

I took the conceal carry class offered by T.A.C. and taught by Houston Denham. The class was very informative and entertaining. Houston has a way of delivering the required classroom information in a way that keeps you interested and engaged. The range portion of the class was equally engaging. Houston took time individually with each student to help them at their skill and comfort level while also instructing the class as a whole on proper range etiquette and expectations. I felt comfortable and safe during my range experience in this class. I recommend T.A.C. to anyone, whether you are brand new to guns or a skilled marksman. This class exceeded my expectations. read more

I just completed the SDA class and it was great. Class size was 9 people of various backgrounds but Houston did an excellent job of making the material relevant and keeping everyone engaged. Carrying a weapon means carrying great responsibility and that was well covered during our course. I've hunted for most of my life but recently ventured into self defense and handguns. Again, Houston gave excellent instruction on fundamentals which gave even first time shooters confidence and capability with their weapons. Overall I had a lot of fun, met some great people and am looking forward to many more classes withTAC read more

My partner and I took the basic handgun course with Houston and left feeling confident and excited to practice what we learned in class. She had never handled a firearm before and was nervous, but starting with the fundamentals of safety and marksmanship in a classroom setting was perfect for her. We took the time to practice and understand each step in class before moving to the private range. We would recommend to anyone who wanting to learn to safely, responsibly, and effectively use their 2A rights! We will be looking out for other classes that T.A.C. offers in the future! read more

I knew nothing about guns. I have taken 3 classes now and will be taking more. Houston is a great teacher and safety comes first. He will work with you until you understand and are doing it the correct way. I enjoyed going to the range and seeing my improvement each time. A lot of people thinks it costs to much but how much is your life or a loved ones worth? It's worth every penny. I pay attention now to what's going on around me when before I was clueless. You will learn more than just shooting. It's the real deal. read more
