Beware ! This office bills your insurance for 2 visits even though your there for only one. When I noticed my insurance company being billed two different days (one time which was billed on a Sunday). I asked the wife, who does the office billing, she said my insurance company only allows 4 codes to be billed per day. I go in to get an adjustment and a massage each time and insurance is billed for 2 office visits because I'm seeing 2 different practitioners that day per the wife. Well, if you know insurance companies they see this as 2 visits and with chiropractic care most have an annual limit. Mine is 20 and by going to this office I only get 10 per year. Well at the end of the year I was shock to see my insurance company no longer paying towards chiropractic care. I had a few visits not covered and had to pay out of pocket for them at $175.00 a visit ! When I asked the wife if they could offer a discount she smirked, laughed and changed the subject. I have called a few other chiropractic offices and when I described how they bill they interrupted me and said what they are doing is illegal and is insurance fraud. If you are not physically there and they are billing as you are that is illegal. Also, one stated they never bill more than 3 codes and they include exercise, massage and adjustment. Each visit I was there for only a 5-7 min adjustment then to lobby to be called in for an hour massage. Please look into how they bill before you are scammed out of your hard earned money and precious chiropractic care. Oh, for less than 15 mins this chiropractor is getting $99.00 for one day that I'm there for and another $45.00 on a day that I'm not there from my insurance company because of the way they bill. read more
