Sysa. Has done a consistently good job of executing the soccer leagues over the past 10 years that we have been involved.

I am appreciative and grateful for the opportunities and environment Bains provided for my daughter (12 years old+) and son (10 years old+) - both year round competitive players. I was impressed by Bains' steadfast level of engagement and dedication, setting clear expectations of both players and families. Similar to the beginning of the school year when a professor provides their syllabus, Bains provided both structure and consistency throughout our time together. Film (game) reviews led to immediate action within our next training sessions to address issues raised. The open lines of communication and our willingness to learn and grow allowed for quick responsiveness to eliminate further issues during games. In conjunction with on-field tactile learning, Bains also provided a plethora of online resources leading to a deeper understanding, respect and appreciation of the game.

Her time as a professional player in Europe gives her the experience and knowledge on how to build in high level environments. Her coaching reflects that ethic and skill set . Revolution was the home team. Revolution is an EA team. Oakley is a gold team. Gold is 3 levels down from EA. Watched as the home team ref (his name is Jason Bates-got his name from one of the parents at the game) put on a blatant display of favoritism for the Revolution team. Call after call was made for the home team. Mr. Bates did not seem to care how bad his call were and how much the calls favored the Revolution team. But even with the absolutely horrible refereeing displayed by Mr. Bates, Oakley clearly outplayed and outsmarted and outdueled the Revolution team to a 1 to 0 score. When it got to the end of the second half, Mr. Bates, still favoring the home team and doing anything he could to make sure they had a chance to win, called out that he was adding 4 minutes of extra time after the game had actually hit the final whistle. I have 3 kids. All three have played soccer. I have seen at least 350 games comp games my kids have played in in my time. Adding 4 minutes of extra time to a game is due to at least one injury. There needs to be a reason to add that much time in a u17 game. There were no injuries in this game. There was actually not one reason to add one minute to the game, let alone 4 minutes. Well sure enough, after a total of 1 hour and 33 minutes of keeping the score at 1-0, Oakley allowed a goal. Yes, in the 3rd minute of added time Revolution scored. All due to Blatant and unacceptable and completely one-sided refereeing by Mr. Bates. It was embarrassing. Again, Oakley, a team 3 levels down from Revolution, outplayed and had won the game. But a horrible referee with an agenda, who added time for no reason changed the outcome of the game. The teams went to PK's and revolution won. Never in my life have I ever seen a team cheat so blatantly and so openly in a game between comp teams. This was a game where the winner moved on and the team lost were done. Revolution had to cheat to resort to winning a game against a team 3 levels below them. Revolution brags about how good their coaches are and how good their training is. If a high level EA team can't beat a gold team without cheating there is something wrong. Enjoy your win you didn't earn Revolution. As for Mr. Bates, you are a disgrace to the game. There is no place for people like you in the beautiful game. Oakley won that game. Whatever ANYONE tells you about this game, Oakley won the game 1 to 0. Proud of the Oakley Mexico Jr.'s and proud of the outstanding Oakley coaches, and proud of what you guys accomplished today.

If you're looking for player development, this is not the club for you. The number of players in the league that don't even know basic fundamentals is concerning. Seems like they will take anyone who pays the fee, that is NOT how a comp program should work. If the program is not very competitive, it should at least be fun. This club has been neither. Players are supposed to be evaluated every year, last eval for my child was about 5 years ago. Most teenage athletes will tell you they're good, even when they're not, part of the coach's job is to make sure the best 11 players are on the pitch and make adjustments accordingly. With the coaches we've been assigned to, they seem to only want to play their favorite 11 players even through fatigue and obvious injury. Losses are part of the game, but number of last-minute losses we've seen because of poor player management is mind-blowing. Was hoping the transition from Impact to Revolution would make things better, but it's the same. It's coaches putting their ego before what's best for the players and team. Best wishes.
