This is such a great venue. It seats fewer people than say the Landmark but the seats are more…read morecomfortable. We saw Joe Turner's Come and Gone which was very well presented. The story line was easy to follow and the actors were spectacular. Parking is available off street or across the street at the Phoebe's lot for a fee. There is a concession stand and bar inside that offers candy, snacks, coffee, and alcoholic drinks (even a special creation for whatever play is showing). There are also memberships offered if you think you'll go to multiple shows. A great experience! I hope to return soon!

As a regular theatre-goer here in Rochester, I was SUPER excited to finally check out Syracuse Stage. They do co-productions with our LORT theatre Geva, and I have heard great things. The venue itself is classy, well maintained, with reasonable prices on everything from snacks to wine to tickets. Every staff member I interacted with was SO friendly. Special shoutout to the AMAZING box office staff! I had a conflict come up for my original show date and they exchanged me into a new date - no questions asked. At many theatre's, you have to pay an exchange fee or exchanges are only allowed for subscribers. That kind of accommodation will keep me coming back the next time they are doing a can't miss show (helllllo Amadeus next season!) Thank you to them for being so helpful and easy to work with! Even though the show I saw was not my cup of tea, I look forward to coming back and deeply appreciate them bringing high level talent to the upstate/central NY area. We are SO lucky to have a rich theatre scene, and Syracuse Stage is worth the special trip up from Rochester if there's something you're keen on seeing!
