I try to go to a couple Syracuse Mets games a season and have some great memories from their years as a then-Nationals / now-Mets farm team (I really started getting to minor league games maybe... 10 years ago). You get to see some great players before they get called up to the big leagues (saw Aaron Judge play here multiple times for RailRiders vs Chiefs games, including back in 2016 when Nick Swisher was hitting next to him in the lineup as well), and plenty of major leaguers as they're coming back up to the big leagues as part of their rehab assignment (saw deGrom's final rehab start here in 2022). They have some fun promotions, and I've never had issues with parking for games or whatnot (honestly, given the location, it's a pretty easy place to get into and out of). I *do* wish they had some better or more interesting concession options... but they'll sometimes get a little inventive for things like "Duel of the Dishes" games, including having salt potato pizza available (which, if you're wondering, is delicious). They've made some nice upgrades in the last couple years too... and having watched games from a variety of different seats, I can tell you that it's all good no matter where you sit (though I am admittedly bias to watching from somewhere along the first base line). TL;DR Syracuse Mets fans will tell you to come to the stadium to watch the "Most Amazin' Show on Dirt"! It's definitely a good time, and while some other minor league stadiums & teams are at the top of my list? I love getting the chance to attend a Syracuse Mets game. read more

Opening day is almost always chilly or rainy. This year was on a Friday! Good Friday in fact, so kiddos were out of school and many families made it to the game. Craft beer Friday had a lot of options for adults, Pavones is there making pizza and a few other new food vendors have started selling their wares. I went to the Hoffman's stand where part of the sales were supporting local cheerleaders. I went with the Hoffman's sausage which I had never had and salt potatoes a Syracuse tradition since we are known as the Salt City. I find that appropriate since I am frequently washing salt off my car from the roads every winter. On to the food. The salt potatoes were cooked just right and salty without being overpowered by the salt itself with a good amount of butter in the container. The container was sturdier than most but not large enough to easily break up the sizable amount of potatoes I received but I made it happen successfully with only a small nibble or two lost along the way. The sausage was tender and flavorful and so much better than the locally loved Gianellis which I find boring. Fair time it's Basilio's for the win. All in all I supported a local group of kiddos and enjoyed my fairly priced meal. read more

Decent options for drink and standard ballpark food options. Easy in and out of the venue. It's a nice option for an outing.

This is a great little stadium though I might be biased from of my love of live baseball. There really aren't any bad seats in the place. Parking is $5 and there's lots of it. Food prices aren't too bad. A hot dog is about $3.25. A waffle cone is $4. Beer is $5.50 for a small and $7 for a large. read more

extremely frustrated!!! the whole family finely had our schedules worked out so we could all go to the game tonight to celebrate a late Father's Day gift for my Dad, brothers, and husband, got up to the gate and security said I couldn't go in because my bag was to big. Mind you, it fit in the box he pointed to on the table but because it had fringe, it made it look like it was bigger then the box because it wasn't tucked in (which I gladly would have done to show it is within regulation size). This is also right after he let my daughter, mother, and other people in with bigger bags then I had. When I asked him why that was he said "because they had baby stuff in them" my mother has 6 grown children, the youngest who is 25, and my daughter is 13 and is artistic...sir, what baby stuff are you talking about? I asked about the girl after me who's bag was bigger and he didn't even answer me. I understand you have policy's but, either stick to the policy or don't, this picking and choosing is crap!!! read more

The Chiefs got me to #GetOnBoard! I consider myself a Baseball Addict and while the stadium is a little bit older, the atmosphere is awesome. Granted I attended on Zombie Apocalypse "Walking Dead" night, but the management and employees of this team go out of their way to make this a family friendly venue that is FUN beyond just the game. If you are a baseball aficionado, hey, grab your score book and see the best Washington Nationals prospects play for a third of what you would pay in DC. If you are there for a family night out, you are set there too as this place has everything for your first baseball game to your hundred and first. The food is reasonably priced or if you think it's high, go on Thursday and enjoy dollar hot dogs and soda. Find a staff member and volunteer for a between innings contest. If you want to have a conversation, open your mouth, because the fans there are knowledgeable about baseball and enthusiastic supporters of their team. They aren't rude to outsider fans like some stadiums. What you need to know though is go and have fun. This is a great place to see baseball, but before you leave you will end up a fan. read more

It was a nice time with my dad and my child, however someone needs to focus on the parking situation ..once we got in it was fine but realized there were a ton of spots open in the parking lot and a ton of seats open..and we waited at least 45 minutes just to find a parking spot..I would give 4 stars but the parking was crazy read more

I've visited this ballpark twice now. It's really a pretty park. If you sit on the first base side there is a great view of of the train track and the last game we went to several trains came by - a real hit for my little boy. They also have great local ice cream in waffle cones. The rest of the concessions are pretty standard ballpark fare. The prices are pretty average, not outrageous for what you get. If you're local they have ticket and food packages at really affordable prices. When we went earlier this month I got a great seat on a Friday night right behind the visitor's box for $13. The parking is $5 and the attendants do a great job of directing you in. It's well lit and the cars are spaced well enough that I can easily find my car after games (not an easy feat sometimes). They also manage the traffic getting out quite well and the signage is good to find your way back onto the highway. My favorite thing about this park, though is the fireworks. The show is bright, spectacular, and lasts as long as some 4th of July events. I'm not a huge fireworks fan in general, but both the shows I've seen were very impressive. Don't miss it. read more
