He made me feel he was going to take good care of my laptop and fix whatever was wrong. I felt good about leaving it. Pat understood, I work from home and my laptop is necessary to do my job. Sunday morning, Pat texts me my Laptop is ready. When I picked it up Sunday, he gave me good suggestions on what to do going forward, which I appreciated. While I was in there the technician actually told the customer a head of me that the part was $10 cheaper then quoted so he returned the $10 to her. He could have easily kept the extra money but he was so honost. I brought my laptop in and he diagnosed the problem in about 10 min (Currupted hard drive). He was able to backup all my data even with a bad hard drive, replace the hard drive and got my computer up and running like new. Price was better than I thought too. They eventually called me back to tell me that my computer was ready to be picked up. When I got to the store, there were some new, large scratches on the front of my laptop lid, and on the inside near the trackpad. Also, the space bar sounded much louder when I would click it. Two months after my repair, the replacement DVD drive stopped working, and the entire motherboard had failed (meaning that the laptop no longer turned on). I'm very upset that they had caused cosmetic damage to my computer and had gave me a faulty part. I do not plan on ever coming back, nor do I recommend anyone come here.

When I brought the laptop in, suspecting a virus, the young man behind the counter was very limited in what he had to say. Made me feel like I might have been wasting his time. Stone-faced, he repeatedly told me the rate per hour, and that their turnaround time was 2-3 days, not much else. As it turned out, the hard drive was going bad. Unfortunately it took Cyber Tex 1 week to let me know this. That was unacceptable. The price seemed a bit high - $193 to replace it, but I needed it back asap. Unfortunately (again), when I got it home, it did not recognize me as the administrator, and so back to the shop I went. They repaired it at no charge, but said the files were corrupted, and it was probably something I had downloaded. Duh, that's why I brought it there in the first place, so you would fix it, and then test it to make sure there were no more corrupted files. The final results were OK, but I won't be going there, or suggesting them in the future. They need to work on their customer service, and promised return times.
