While we were touring the area, we ended up in Dormans around lunch time, so we decided to stop and find a place for lunch. After a bit of wandering, we found this place. Not only are they a Patisserie, they are a restaurant so we opted for that. There's a lovely outdoor seating area, so we opted to sit there, but tried to sit on one side to be away from anyone who decided to start smoking while they were there. Unfortunately, those seats seemed to be close to a wasps nest, as we were aggressively attacked by them for the entirety of our meal.
We both started with the four cheese tart with duck sausage. It was incredibly tasty. The cheese was rich, the sausage delicious and the pastry well cooked. It was a great way to start. I then had the stuffed tomato with rice and chorizo and my partner ordered the chicken risotto. My tomato was divine. Rich tasting, heavenly. I was really happy I ordered it. My partner's risotto had a really nice flavor, but the chicken was really over cooked (so that was really unfortunate).
We were quite full of rich food, so passed on dessert, but the selection of desserts and chocolates inside looked amazing. I did order a coffee, and they gave me a bit of chocolate to go with that, so that was nice.
