My friends told me about students smacking girls on the butt or even doing things in the Den, and nothing was done about it. They also completely ruined student council after taking it from Mr. Hagler and Mr. Miller, who actually knew what they were doing and cared about the students. Bullying and making fun of people still gets overlooked, and it feels like no one in charge really cares anymore. Dr. Smith, the principal, doesn't do much and just has Tony Sanchez handle everything. She even made comments about students needing to "speak English because it's America," which is honestly just racist and disappointing. Ms. Romero acts like she's still in high school herself and clearly favors the basketball boys and popular girls , it's weird and unprofessional. The only reason this isn't a one-star review is because some teachers there genuinely care, like Mr. Hagler, Ms. Newby, Ms. Han, and Mr. Flores. They're amazing and deserve better leadership. But the only chemistry teacher, Ms. Bagoyan, apparently doesn't teach much, lets her class get gross, and literally uses ChatGPT for assignments. If you're thinking about sending your kid here, I'd say don't, unless they're already popular. The school's leadership has gone downhill fast.

ArTES has the most incredible teaching and administrative staff ever! Each teacher takes an active roll in not only your child's education but also in their emotional well-being. Differences are embraced here, never shunned! The principal, Mr. Lawler is always approachable and always has time to give you. Teachers like Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Solomon, Mrs. Naturman, and Mrs. Jaeggi have been like second moms to my girl, and I can never thank them enough for all they have done for her! I've made friendships I believe will last a lifetime, have learned many different life lessons, and have been a part of a community that makes me feel loved and important. Bishop Alemany has so much to offer. Almost anything you can think of Alemany has. There are all kinds of sports teams from Basketball to Equestrian to Tennis! We have arts programs like Dance, Theatre, Orchestra, and Choir. You can start your own club like "The Disney Club" or "The Cool Kids Club." Our school is one big melting pot filled with students of different ethnicity, sizes, with different interests and even religions! That's an amazing thing because all are welcome and accepted in this school. We're all a family true to God and to each other! The teachers at Alemany have helped me strive to become not only a better student but a better person. The Alemany Faculty and Staff takes real care of their students. This counselor lures you in by pretending to be understanding and kind while revealing sensitive information. This disgusting disregard for the emotional wellbeing of their students directly shows their "christian" values. What kind of catholic educational facility makes their students feel unsafe to share how they are feeling. I am extremely disappointed to say that anyone looking for a safe place will not find it at the Alemany Counseling Department. It is an extremely disappointing development and this is only one example, I pray for anyone else who has faced something similar and hasn't had the courage to speak up.
