History

Established in 2002.

Jennifer Hasser, M.Ed., founded Syllables Learning Center in 2003 to help struggling students learn to read. Since that time, we have served thousands of students at our three centers in Metro Atlanta and worldwide via teletherapy. Jennifer is an expert in the field of reading and dyslexia and has developed a comprehensive reading curriculum that is used not only with our students at Syllables but also in schools throughout the nation. Our program is accredited by the International Dyslexia Association and the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council.

Meet the Business Owner: Jennifer H.

Jennifer Hasser, M.Ed. is a nationally recognized advocate, author, and trainer in the field of reading and dyslexia. The parent of a daughter with dyslexia, Jennifer knows firsthand the challenges children and adolescents with learning difficulties face and has devoted her life to leveling the playing field. Jennifer's was awarded Special Education Teacher of the Year by Georgia State University. Currently Executive Director of Kendore Learning and Syllables Learning Center, Jennifer has taught thousands of educators to teach reading and has helped even more students learn to read. Jennifer is the past president of the International Dyslexia Association of Georgia and a founding member of Decoding Dyslexia Georgia. Her nonprofit organization, Kendore Cares, provides teacher training and student remediation to underserved schools and individuals.
