Hill Haven and the staff there made everything so easy for me to do from another state to prepare and share our information such as our ceremony preference and they even have a variety of style of vows available and helped us choose one to customize and make our own! Our day was perfect - the chapel was decked out in the gorgeous fall florals I chose to use, YES, they provide the floral decor as well with so many options it was hard to choose! I cant say enough good things about Hill Haven Chapel and our experience eloping from out of state. Thank you so much to everyone on staff who made sure our day was EXACTLY how we wanted it, oh and the BEST part is when you get married there your donation goes to support a group of elderly horses who do therapeutic work with troubled teens and struggling adults and they host grief counseling on site. Now, this little jewel received its renaissance in early 2010. As a venue, it's picture perfect. As a historic marker, it's a point of pride. The flows well from the newly updated Madison Public Library. It's definitely worth the drive to see if you're ever on the north side of town.

We attended a wedding here yesterday. It was the most beautiful setting, not as fancy as Cheekwood…read morefor sure but beautifully rustic. The bride and groom came up the grass and were married in front of an old barn - it can be candle lit for evening. A violinist played softly and a donkey made a guest appearance to the side. We sat on rustic benches. Green all around and not a sound other than the countryside. After the nuptials we tramped down the hill to another barn for our feast, yep barbecued chicken with all the trimmings and pecan pie - house catering and totally appropriate. There was a bar and lots of benches and tables for easy mingling. Fairy lights lit the place up. An elevated top table for 12 with a huge dance floor behind it. Outside there was even an old mini golf course and lots of rustic farm implements. It was perfect . The floor in the barn was an earth finish so our shoes got pretty dusty so keep in mind your best heels are not entirely appropriate for here if you mind a bit of dirt. Service was very good and fairly invisible. I hear prices for the venue were very reasonable.
