The damage packet Sixt sent didn't even match the return inspection. It included rear bumper damage and repair charges that were not identified as new at drop-off, plus padded fees like a $200 admin fee and "diminution of value" - all based on a preliminary estimate, not a final repair invoice. I emailed Sixt multiple times asking for clarification and received no response. I ultimately had to file a claim through my credit card's rental insurance, which paid it, but that doesn't make the process acceptable. Without coverage, I would've been stuck paying four figures for a minor cosmetic issue with inconsistent documentation. Renters: take photos and video at pickup and return. I won't rent from Sixt again.

The agent only offered a more expensive SUV and required us to pay extra. We declined since they could not honor the original reservation. Despite the fact that no vehicle was provided, the rental company refused to issue a refund. Expedia also declined to help, and we are now forced to resolve this through a credit card dispute. Very disappointing experience. A confirmed reservation should be honored, or an equivalent should be provided at no additional cost. I would not recommend this location.

(Their cars generally are not equipped with an E-ZPass transponder, so you can just pay with cash and avoid getting hit by the TollPass fee. As for my request to get a car which hadn't been rented in several days, the answer was that most of the cars have just been sitting idle since it's been a slow time of year.) The agent who served me in the morning of my rental was friendly and efficient. She didn't try to upsell me on any optional services, but rather just presented them on a tablet and I could decide for myself what I wanted. The car I got was a slight upgrade from the class I chose and was very clean. I asked about after-hours return and she showed me the drop box to return the keys. When I went to return the car that night, the parking lot was full already. Both the local branch and Enterprise corporate were out for the day, so I went to ask the front desk of Candlewood Suites (which owns the building that the Enterprise branch is part of). The concierge was rude and unhelpful, and clearly didn't know what she was talking about. When I told her the lot was full, she suggested that I should park in another lot, but didn't give any specifics. She then claimed that Enterprise would give them a list of cars expected each night for security to monitor, and that my car wouldn't be part of the list. That made no sense, as I had made it clear to the Enterprise employees that I would be returning it that night. Finally, I reasoned that it was probably fine and that Enterprise wouldn't tow their own car so I parked it in the middle of the lot and hoped for the best. I called back the next morning and confirmed that they had received the car back safely. The behavior of the Candlewood employee is not Enterprise's fault, but I will deduct one star due to Enterprise failing to advise their customers that it is OK to double-park if the parking lot is full (a very real possibility, it seems). Maybe they should also give some instructions to the Candlewood people so that they are equipped to answer basic questions after hours.

    Priceless is one of the independent car rentals on Century Blvd 1-2 miles east of LAX. I was wary…read moreof some bad reviews, but gave them a try because their rate was 30% lower than any other. I had time and just a roller bag so I walked from the airport but most would catch their shuttle from the bus drop-off point. The office doesn't look like much but the agent was courteous and straightforward. I asked the model year of the rental and he said 2023. He required proof of insurance because I declined to buy coverage. The car was waiting outside the back door. It was basic but spotless and nearly new. I followed instructions to take pictures and email them before driving away. Upon return, I was directed to the adjacent parking structure where I was welcomed by Abdullah who inspected the car and thanked me for being a customer. Downstairs the shuttle with friendly driver was waiting. He promptly took me and several others directly to our departure terminals at LAX. Overall this was a great experience, but I took off a star because they did not fully refund my $200 deposit which took a couple phone calls to correct. Still, every employee was courteous and helpful, and the company has made service a priority. Priceless earned my business and I will not hesitate to rent from them again.

They DO NOT accept Amex, so if you have any insurance via AMEX, it will not be any good. They further make you buy more insurance claiming that your state insurance is no good. Unfortunately a bunch of scammers So many negative reviews obviously means something is wrong with this company. The insurance that they sell you has a $2500 deductible. So god forbid if you are in a mishap, $2500 is out of your pocket before insurance pays anything. I unfortunately had to pay an additional $500 to rent the car. Hopefully this review helps other people avoid the issues I faced with this company.
